We've only lost 1 more game than Peterborough and Ipswich who are 4th and 6th.

Excellent result could have been 3-3 if it hadn’t been for JVS in outstanding form as our two centre half’s looked really dodgey again and weren’t helped by the pedestrian lazy ball watcher Grant. Everyone else played well and Upson must be shattered doing the work of two men. Sammy Nicholson is next level I really hope we don’t lose him any time soon. UTG.

Enjoyed this. Just opened a Whisky somebody at work bought me called Laphroiagh. With every bottle you get a square foot of a Scottish Island called Islay. If Tisdale keeps this team winning I will be practically be a Clansmen by the end of the season. UTG. ...you might even be Laird! Or Lardi . . . ?

I thought our defence looked fairly comfortable. Whereas under Garner we looked like we'd concede every time we were in that position tonight we had a solid look that we haven't had since under GC. I didn't think Plymouth would score in a month of Saturdays

Much needed 3 points as teams at the bottom had a good day overall. Still only 3 points off the drop but at last we seem to be growing as a defensive unit.
Once again I’ll happily eat my pie with JVS. Will do him and the defence the world of good.
And with Oz and Daly to come back we look to be in a good place.

Great effort & Great result. Still lots to work on but now looking like a team. Well played JVS & Nicholson’s got some great skills.

Well done Gas.
What a huge difference from Tisdales first game in charge at Swindon which was arguably the most pathetic Rovers display I'd ever seen.
We're keeping it simple, we're getting the ball forward quickly, we're creating chances and scoring goals. It was great to see us score from corners which is something we've seemingly never been able to do.
The pleasing thing for me today as well as the win, is that we looked really good defensively.
We became complacement after we scored the 2nd, and we were under the cosh for a lot of the 2nd Half but we were getting crucial blocks in, we looked solid and of course JVS made a number of quality saves.
Nicholson as always was quality, McCormick had a great game today, but MOM has to go to JVS, he's been getting a lot of stick but he had a blinder today with some great stops and a clean sheet will hopefully give him some confidence.
Get in Gas!!!

I guess I’ll have to check the shots stats but I reckon they were fairly even and Plymouth must be wondering how they didn’t score.

It does beggar belief BG would have forced EW out in January, likewise Kilgour, Leahy and Hargreave, along with Barrett, were all out of favour, we're now back getting the results the squad looked like it could achieve at the start of the season.

Good days football that. Can’t stand their manager so hopefully that has wiped the smug smile off his scouse face 😀

JVS has a dire rep, and we've not kept many clean sheets this season but we did tonight despite both of those. Posts don't count as goals otherwise Garner might have kept his job. Sometimes you don't need to tackle, you just need to make it bloody hard angles to go in and thus easy for a keeper.

Great result, slightly flattering scoreline. Argyle played quite decent football but were BCFC82 at the back.
Jordi Man of the Match and good to see Alfie getting his confidence back.
A good all round team performance.

I’m really looking forward to the gaffer’s post-match interview - haven't been able to say that for a long time . . .

This is why I don't think much of Plymouth. by IJN » 22:48 09 Dec 2020 Site Owner When you've got as little to celebrate as those planks, I suppose you would enjoy such an event. Let's face it, they haven't even got their own ground really have they? The only 'ground' I've seen with permanent portaloos. Yes, I saw that as well on Pasoti. I presumed they haven’t forgiven us from two years ago when a late Gavin Reilly goal stole a point from which they never recovered. UTG! Well you Plymouth prat, this plank is going to celebrate tonight and I might even use a proper toilet after all the Thatchers I am going to drink :-)

More like Ryan Lowe is wondering how long he'll remain at Plymuff's manager lose next week, assuming they are at home, and his job could well be on the line.
