Ford has raised the UK list prices of some of its models, blaming post-Brexit 'rules of origin' tariffs. @autocar reports that the Fiesta ST Edition went up by £1,695 between Dec and Jan, with Puma ST getting £1,920 more expensive.

Spain tightening up immigration rules for foreigners, surely we approve of that? 😇 That’s the bit about Brexit that breaks my heart the most. It’s one thing changing the economics of the country and the rules around trade but taking away other people’s opportunities to travel freely feels totally sh**. I wish I’d been able to make more use of it but it’s the young I feel sorry for who (it looks like) will need to earn a decent income in order to experience it themselves. The good old days of subsisting on bar work to finance your time in hot European climates are at an end it seems.

I really do think it’s going to turn out to be a very short sighted decision and we’ll have rejoined on a much worse deal in the next 20 years once it’s all sunk in what it actually entails.

Viagra sales up (oo..er! misses🤭) and we can speed in France without fines following us back home.
Mind you, the longer queues at Calais will give the French police more time to catch us.

Good news for British banana farmers. 🍌 "While the UK government managed to roll over most of the third-country trade deals it had as part of the EU, that did not include Ghana's. Labour MP Gareth Thomas told the Commons on Monday: "The government's dismal treatment of Ghana - a key Commonwealth ally - is particularly surprising," criticising the UK negotiators for turning up to talks late and poorly briefed, meaning no deal had been done. He added the upshot of the failure to do a deal was cocoa, tuna and bananas arriving in the UK faced heavy tariffs (or import taxes), with that already having happened to two shipments. Last week, the first of those shipments was mentioned in the House of Lords, after it emerged a tariff of £17,500 had been charged at Portsmouth on bananas from Ghana." www.bbc.co.uk/news/55633632

I agree that’s it’s really really hard to feel sorry for these sort of people but they were conned. Slowly but surely more and more folk will begin to realise we were better off in ( apart from the real head bangers like oldgas!) .

Yea well, for God knows how long I've had brexiters ramming it down my throat about how wrong I am, how traitorous I am, how unpatriotic I am for not wanting to leave, so as far as I'm concerned they can all rot with their vote.

Im guessing he vote remain. I beleive quite a few Scottish fishermen did (wonder if their is a noticeable North/South divide on fishing) This and the other clip (even if he or they voted leave). How are the Government going to sort this.
