Looking forward to this, dunno why but it feels like a ‘bigger’ game than it should be given its in the EFL trophy. Big chance for the likes of Kelly, Rodman, Barrett, Koiki and Harries to force their way into Tisdale’s plans. UTG. It feels like that to me too. I reckon it’s because so much that we’ve always enjoyed can no longer be enjoyed so we’re getting excited about watching our fringe players take on another league 1 clubs fringe players in the shitfest cup that until a year ago most didn’t care about one bit. Strange times. Well after watching that first 45 minutes I think I’ve gone back to not caring because it’s a sh** competition with fringe players 😄 |

Paid £10 so that entitled me to an opinion!
Abs our best player so far. His usual busy self, this scrappy game suits him.
Back 5 solid and relatively untested.
Westbrooke infuriating, will not play the simple ball. A couple of times he could’ve got a cross in but keeps taking extra touches. I know he’s that type of player but he needs to learn when to do things.
Game completely passed Grant, Koiki and Barrett by. Rodman I’ll be more lenient with as he’s shown some ok touches given the absence.
With Barrett’s lack of mobility he needs to be 20% better than everyone when he gets the ball, unfortunately I haven’t seen that so far. BUT he’s playing out of position. I’d like to see JA on for Koiki and push Barrett left.

Well that was a poor first half. Only players who have been ok are Rodders, Westbrooke and Kilgour.... not see anything from the rest really and we have nothing up top.... got to say the last few posts have brought me more entertainment than the whole of the first half... hopefully it’ll get better 2nd half as both teams look really poor at the moment

Not watching but with 8 team changes and 5/6 very rusty players out there it’s no surprise that it’s a stinker of a performance from us.

Well thats a first half which went pretty well as expected with no strikers. Did pretty well generally considering its pretty well Wimbledons first team and very close to our reserves! Christ it is really hard going listening to (our) commentary team- is the main man a shithead? He doesn't seem to agree with anything that goes our way! We are really short of attacking players (Thanks Ben) and I just hope that we are going to sign a couple of attacking players to strengthen and balance of the squad. Ogogo done pretty well and Little very unlucky not to give us the lead beating the keeper all the way but not the underside of the crossbar. Lets hope for a bit better se3cond half as hardly worth the £10 so far.

Not a lot happened there but fwiw I dont think either of the full backs have done themselves any harm. Not a great threat going forward think we need either Ayunga or Walker on to give us a bit of an outlet.
