Definitely got to just go for it tonight IMO. Sit back with a flat back 7 as we have the last two games & Posh’s quality will pick us off and see them stroll to victory. Regardless of whether Nicholson & Ozzy are back, let’s at least let their defenders know they’ve been in a game at FT. I can’t stand to watch another 90 mins of Hanlan up front on his own being supported by Ehmer, Baldwin, Grant etc. from midfield... We have to get Ayunga up there battering them and have Hanlan pick up or at least challenge the loose ball when Jonah doesn't win it. Only problem is...using our only two fit strikers in the same game... injury risks

I don’t necessarily expect us to start Hanlan-Ayunga as a two tonight because of that issue, but I’d just like to see some more attack-minded players higher up the pitch to give Hanlan some support nearby. I also wouldn’t mind seeing how Rodman does as a target man as the poster above says. He’s 6’2, good in the air and has always seemed a decent finisher to me.

Aye interesting one that... not sure he will have the muscles/weight to cope but 'good in the air' would suggest he does just fine

My worry is if we get a drubbing tonight we will go into a crucial game on Saturday with our confidence shot,a draw will seem like a win confidence wise.

Although we’ve just played two of the most defensive lineups I’ve ever seen and conceded 5 goals across the two games (to less potent attacking sides than Posh), so I’m not sure we’re any more likely to get a draw playing that way than we are taking the game to them a bit!

They'll fancy themselves so much that they won't see the need to put a whole platoon marking Hanlan. He'll nip in and score an early goal, they'll think 'cheeky barsteward' and attack even more, upon which Hanlan will poach four more before halftime, two more after the break and set up Ayunga for his first league goal in the closing stages. Hanlan will leave the field looking pleased as punch and JCH will go off in a sulk wondering why he ever left us.

Ayunga has the first touch of a hippo. Dont know what anyonesees in him. I'm still pretty cross at the board allowing Garner to sign these players without question. Wriddrington has to take a huge part of the blame for where we are.

Ogogo and Grant in the centre is like handing Peterborough the midfield. They are both too poor at passing and neither seems disciplined enough to actually mark. The pair of them were very poor Saturday and don't deserve another chance. We probably do have to play one of them though. Lol
