Sad to hear, RIP Brian, a colourful and forthright Gashead whose voice will be missed whether you agreed with it or not. Always happy to chew the fat over a pint or two before or after an away game from Torquay to Darlington and from the the loftier heights of Chelsea and Man City to the more modest levels of Braintree and Dover. Cheers GI.

Very sad news, especially as he even created a thread just a few days ago.
Can’t say I ever really agreed with anything he ever posted, but at least it got me thinking about a different perspective of the club we both love.
RIP

Very sad news. A good player for us. He took a good penalty from memory. Ahhh, Torquay away.

WHEN SOMEONES TIME HAS COME TO PASS, A GASHEAD TO THE END.
UNITED WE STAND, GLASS IN HAND, TO TOAST OUR ABSENT FRIEND.
Met and shared a drink with Brian on many occasions and nobody could fault his absolute love of Bristol Rovers. I didn’t agree with him much, particularly recently but we all have different views on so much in life and I respected his passionate views even if I didn’t like them. But clubs and organisations should always have people who will challenge the status quo and Brian was one of those that would not sit back if he thought something could or should be done better.
Rest in peace Brian and condolences to all your family and friends at this very sad time.

RIP Brian.
Didn't agree with a lot of his views, but he was a good bloke and you can't doubt his love for Bristol Rovers.
