The stubbornness of sticking with 3 centre backs on will take us down.

I hate this three at the back, it never seems to make us better defensively and limits our midfield. Very disappointed with today.

They have the luxury of no crowds so can get away with the crap sideways passing. Just forget the 5 at the back and get Westbrook to retire

Our problem is Garner was a under 21s manager at the elite level and thought he could bring those players and principles to l1 adult level.
I thought PT could come in and iron out some of the flaws and instil a bit of realism but it’s boys vs men out there. They think they’re still at school.
Compare them to the players who’ve had to fight for their careers like we saw in the players who took us to two promotions from the conference. Players who’d tasted disappointment and the harsh reality of football. Those who’d been blunted and had high mental strength.
The project is failing.

You know what I miss? The DC/GC days of throwing the kitchen f**king sink at the defence. Sorry but this slow build up tip tap across our back line in the opposing half just isn’t doing it for me. There is no drive to go forward, no fight and no inspiration. Not aimed at you specifically but you can’t beat the irony that we want GC’s football back! And I include myself in that, can’t believe how it’s turned out for us. These clowns have taken a side in 3rd and turned it into a relegation outfit in a year. Mental. It shows how easy it is to have airy fairy dreams of developing youth for millions whilst playing sexy football. We simply don’t have the brains at the club to do it.

After the Blackpool game we had 22pts from 18.... We've now got 23pts from 23....
The form is alarming, and if we slip below a point a game average then its gonna get even harder....

Well Starnes said he would change the clubs DNA, but he also said we had the best squad in years. He needs sacking. As for the game then, we are going down.

Think we just got to accept that we have been sold down the river with Widdringtons signings, this is a very poor bunch of characters , no pride, don’t mind losing attitude throughout, they can get away with it with no crowds, and a manager that is too nice, pity but looks like we are stuck with this lot for a bit. Think today would have been a chorus of “your not fit to wear the shirt’ that would have wiped the smile off most of their faces

That's a game we've thrown away through two pieces of absolutely atrocious defending. First goal free header across goal and a bloke completely unmarked a yard out has a tap in. Then after we get ourselves level and are on top we allow their winger to stroll 30 yards without a challenge and invite him to shoot. Day probably should save it but the should never have been allowed to get that far. For me we dont defend well with 5 so go back to 4, at least that way we have more of a threat going forward. McCormick needs to play ahead of Westbrooke he offers more energy and wont slow the game down as much. Make no mistake we are in a relegation battle, yes we're short of strikers but our defending is just as much of a concern, we have to stop conceding soft goals.

I was hopeful that bringing in an experienced manager would see a consistency in selection and a settled pattern of play. Tisdale seems no nearer achieving this now than when he was appointed. Put quite simply we are a side that constantly makes mistakes and concede stupid goals at one end and at the other carry little creativity and goal threat. The outcome of that continuing is relegation.

On the other hand, we’re only 17 points off the play offs with a game in hand.

Once.ogogo went off that lost any aggression or drive the side had

Absolutely Pathetic again. Tisdales tactics are mystifying to say the least. Oztumer or Hanlon might not have been doing great but is Ayunga or McCormick more likely to score and why keep so many defenders on. Beginni9ng to feel that Tisdale i9s not the right man for the job. Leahy is NOT a left back and is a truly awful defender and Harries isnt much better. Feeling really Wee weeed off watching this team now as we don't really look capable of winning games. The window is probably going to pass with no signings and mits going to be a hard battle against relegation. Steve I know Leahy is not the best defender but take his creativity out and we don't have a lot else. Tisdale and Widdrington clearly can not see how to build a team and to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of those players, they will take us down.

Westbrooke is slow and never wins the ball he was meant to be our star signing! Apart from his ball delivery from set pieces he is off the pace. There is a good striker in D2 playing for Crawley he was much maligned at Rovers but had class on the ball. There must be a decent striker available on loan from a Championship side and or winger with pace. Act quickly I can't stand another year in League 2. I've been watching Rovers since 1962 and will forever support them, I even went to Braintree (it does not get much worse than that) a few years ago but this is dire. At least in the past years we've had strikers and wingers and a few characters who could make things happen. Now apart from Nicholson and occasional glimpses from others they are poor. Today we made a few defensive error but I believe if we were scoring more goals these errors would not be so costly Rochdale deserve credit but because the way they played - on the front foot three in attack. Oh for an Alfie, Harold and Rickie etc.

Pathetic to persist with 5 at the back. Yes we have a poor side, but the definition of insanity is to continue doing the same thing expecting different outcomes.
Relegation almost nailed on now and really questioning Tisdale. Lovely.

There is no drive to go forward, no fight and no inspiration. When Westbrooke isn’t there we are more direct with a quicker tempo but he slows it down so much it’s infuriating. How he stayed on for 80 minutes today is anyone’s guess.

I just miss Ollie Clarke, Liam Sercombe, Tony Craig, JCH, even Rollin Menayese... They’d put in so much more fight than this current lot.
