Day 2 turnaround and needs replacing.
Williams 2 turned up.......apparently.
Ehmer 1 turnip.
Kilgour 2 turned in some good blocks.
Leahy 3 turned over a new leaf, or so I thought.
Grant 3 his turn instead of Ogogo.
Westbrooke 2 turn of shot twice but woeful passing.
McCormick 5 unlucky but turned inside and out.
Oztumer 2 his turn to shine but didn't.
Nicholson 7.5 done his job. Turn up again.
Hanlan 4 looked leggy take a turn resting after match has been lost.
Subs: Daly 3 rusty turn.
Ayunga 2 a big turnout.
Hargreaves 2 no turn of pace.
Tutonda 2 not affected by turn of events.
Harries 3 his turn to pass from deep.
Ref 6.5 done well to pass pitch and got most things right.
Accrington 8 played with focus and purpose with steady blocking in defence and ruthless finishing.. Well done to them, thoroughly deserved and we made it easy for them to free flow football and score at will.
Questions need to be asked again about our defence....this time with some answers. Unacceptable performance, and PT what are you going to do about it?
Why don't you ask the captain first...?

Hanlan 4.Even he hasn't scored for yonks. Daly 4 Ayunga.2 Downs league Hargreaves.4 .Limited but unlike some does at least try. Tutonda 4 Harries 2 Ref 6. Accrington.8 Small club but well run,some good signings and great to see them developing their little ground-no tents either. Very sad night for which the club needs to take responsibility. Day- Has been a total disappointment with mistake after mistake and an inability to direct the defenders in front of him. 2
Williams Nothing to suggest his signing is the answer to our vulnerability on the right. At times seemed half hearted when chasing back. 4
Ehmer Last night worse performance of season not a captains performance nor has there been most of season 2
Kilgour His lack of pace is a cause for concern 4
Leahy Always a mistake in him so I am not a fan, but probably best of a very poor defence 5
Grant Bizarrely I thought he kept giving more than most, made some good interceptions but also gave the ball away too often 5
Westbrooke the lack of a tackle is a luxury we cant carry, two bits of skills, a long range shot and a lob that demonstrate his quality but when not in possession a liability 4
McCormick tried 5
Oztumer poor did nothing 2
Nicholson can't explain why we took him off as he provided our only danger. 6
Hanlan looks tired and played tired 3

Tisdale a Manager void of ideas, unable to inspire team. The team have produced some good performances this season so they have the ability but he is unable to get the team to perform. His two signings to date do not suggest his eye for talent is going to excite. Must shoulder the blame for this performance 1

Day 4 In fairness he had little protection and made a couple of good saves but a couple of goals were down to him and even when he got to the ball it seemed like a bar of soap; Williams 4 slack marking and the inability to pass forward, he looks little better than those whom he replaced. Ehmer 3 absolutely dire, he must be the least inspiring captain we've ever had. Kilgour 5 he made mistakes but he did look as though he cared. Leahy 5 as Alf. Grant 4 Offered little protection to the defence. Westbrooke 3 just not up for a relegation battle. McCormick 5 didnt lack effort Oztumer 3 I barely noticed him. Nicholson 6 M,o,M, a well taken goal , showed glimpses of quality. Hanlan 5,5 the usual effort but never looked like scoring Subs: Daly 5.5 its good to see him back. Ayunga 4.5 the game was lost by the time he arrived not that he could have made any difference. Hargreaves 4 looked sadly lacking in game time. Tutonda 4 no effect whatsoever. Harries 5 no worse than those whom went before. Ref 7 good Accrington 8 I'm full of admiration for the them and the manager,they're well run, well managed and played the game the right way, I really hope they go up, they deserve to. Accrington Stanley, who are they? ,,, well we know now !! |

Well, this is going to be a bit of a bloodbath...
Firstly, Sam Nicholson was Man of the Match with a score of 5.7. It is the 12th lowest score by a MotM in these threads. One of those was by Nicholson himself with a 5.6 at home to Fleetwood this season.
James Daly was runner-up with a score of 3.9. This is the second lowest ever score for a runner-up in the threads. The only lower mark was Chris Lines (also coincidentally as a substitute) scoring 3.5 away to Shrewsbury in 16/17.
Max Ehmer set a new record for the LOWEST EVER RATING in these threads. His score of 1.21 relieves Rollin Menayese of the title from his 1.33 in the Coventry away FA Cup match last season. It also relieves Tom Nichols of the lowest rating in a league match after his 1.40 at home to Bolton in 19/20.
Ehmer was one of NINE players to set their lowest ever rating in this game
The starting XI average was 3.00, the fourth lowest ever in these threads. The only lower games were Shrewsbury away in 16/17 (2.60), Shrewsbury away in 17/18 (2.76) and Coventry away in the FA Cup in 19/20 (2.76)
With Accrington scoring an 8.0, the gap between Rovers and the opposition was 5.0. Only against Shrewsbury in 17/18 (6.1) and Coventry in the FA Cup (5.2) have we been more comprehensively outclassed.
