So all the crap defenders and useless keeper escape? What a fecking joke After Rovers record 12-0 loss to Luton in 1936, for the next game the manager dropped all the forwards (these were the days of (2-3-5), but kept the same defence. Rovers won 3-0. We can but hope! |

I propose that the Mods appoint a Statistical and Scientific Sub-Committee, established to identify whether there is a causal effect of any correlations noted in forum member's posts. My initial conclusion, for verification by the "fact check" committee, is that Rover's poor form drives me to drink. Edit: Just noticed that I also drink more than average when we win - My revised conclusion is that Rovers drive me to drink whatever happens - Up the Gashhhhhh......... |

Liddle seemed a bit lightweight in his limited opportunities so far but glad to see PT has changed it up and he’s been given a better chance to prove himself.
Having Nicholson, Daly and Hanlan up top and Baldwin back are also big positives. Fingers crossed for a result today. UTG!

Do you have any actual info, though? This is a forum for people to discuss all things Rovers...if you are suggesting people can only post if they have concrete proof and evidence this would be a pretty limited forum. I’m suggesting that, if like Henry posted, there is a problem in the back room staff it is most likely to be Gwinnett due to the dramatic change in results from immediately before and immediately after he joined. No, I'm simply asking if you have any info. |

No McCormick, Westbrooke or Oztumer suggests we’re going to be getting it out wide to Leahy and Williams to see what they can create. Good to see Daly starting. Three of the four players with possibly the best technical skills in the squad left out...I expect a lot of long balls bypassing midfield today - lets hope Leahy and Williams at least get forward and provide some crosses. |
