I see Tisdale’s lineup tombola has had another outing this evening.
Save us.

For the rest of the season I am only going to watch the games when two strikers start. Tonight it is just just one striker and five defenders starting, so that is a NO from me. Rodman can play upfront at a push...and he can head the ball as well if not better than Hanlan so could be 2 upfront?

The Exeter fans weren’t wrong when they said Tisdale picks odd and unpredictable lineups, were they? Hope Rodman seizes the opportunity he’s been given. I don't comment on team selection normally as I assume the Management team are privy to a lot more data about fatigue etc. However,we are in the sh**e big time and need a win, only 1 striker at home is criminal and having our 2 highest goalscorers on the bench is beyond me,if we're 1 or 2 down with 20 mins I assume the cunning plan is to bring them on in the hope we salvage something. It's negative and in many respects reckless, I hope this post is completely wrong and we go on and win the game but who will score the goals!!

Could I suggest three games a week for a prolonged period is the reason to rest players now and again. Play our strongest line up tonight against a decent side or play a weak side against Swindon on Saturday? And to follow on from that is it not Portsmouth next Tuesday.

I’m only watching tonight by default because I’ve always watched us whenever or however I can. But I’m not looking forward to it and there haven’t been many times I’ve felt like that over the years even in relegation seasons. I think we’ll get smashed but never know I suppose. It’s the hope that kills us.

I'd never have predicted that line up. PT must be a nightmare to play for Leahy was supposedly a bit leggy so Tutonda must have thought he was in with a chance and doesnt even make the bench. Liddle thrown in on Sat, did ok not in squad. Obviously we dont know the facts regarding injuries but from a distance that's an odd selection, hopefully PT has pulled a tactical masterstroke

It’s 3-4-1-2 as per normal.....
Usual back 3 with Leahy and Williams either side of Macca and Grant in front. Ozzie in the number 10 and Rodders and Daly up top...
Hanlan rested cos of fatigue, Nicholson took a few knocks and is sore from weekend. Only but I don’t get is why Ayunga isn’t starting.... maybe Tis is thinking Rodders is more rounded... he did play up front a bit for Shrewsbury so it’s not completely alien to him and that’s where he came on on Sat...

Has there been a need for a pitch inspection?

This line up smacks of conceding a game to a team in form and saving our best players for the weekend.

Attacking bench ... Amazing that Nicholson isn’t starting ... Oz will need to step up ! Liddle not even on the bench ... How to mess with a young mans head ... Brilliant! If not injured that is appalling man management.

I can only think playing Rodman is to help defending set pieces? Oxford are very strong in this area.

Has there been a need for a pitch inspection? No some naive Gasheads apparently helped to cover it, DC(?) would have been out watering it if he'd still been in charge, not covering it! As far as Rodman is last reasonable game was Plymouth away in the FA Cup last December/January, it'll take a minor miracle if he performs better than Hanlan or Ayunga upfront tonight. Daly also tends to disappear from games if he doesn't play alongside another striker.

Sames defensive players = same poor result! Really don't know what's happening with this manager right now when hes constantly changing midfield and attack each game but sticks with the same dross at the back! Another defeat tonight and one step closer to league two
