Hi to all the 120 members of the Fans Forum Sponsors Club members (including myself)
As a special offer for Fans Forum Sponsors Club members, any member who orders my new book will not only get 10% off the price (meaning it is £9, including UK delivery, instead of £10) but I will also donate £1.50 per copy to the Sponsors Club funds. This has been agreed with JTS.
To order, just go to shellshockpublishing.bigcartel.com/, and whilst buying add in the promotional code ‘Boris’ to get your discount AND help the club.
If you are attending the Welling hospitality, please tell me by PM or when you order, so you can get your copy delivered to your table there (along with a protective bag and a free photo).
If you aren't a member of the club, please don't use the code or pass it around. Just join the club for only £10 and then you can use it
If you have already bought it, feel free to tell me and I will honour the £1.50 donation in retrospect.
Martin Bull
Book details -
Away The Gas - The Utterly Marvellous Away Game Memories of Bristol Rovers Fans - is OUT NOW
‘Away The Gas’ lets you wallow in 50 years of ‘I was there’ away game moments, from Halifax Town in 1963 to Pompey in 2014, and lets you find out just why we cherish away days so much.
The highs, the lows, the loves, the arguments, the times we got lost, wet or hideously late, and also the times we lay on a terrace in the lovely Spring sun, made some great mates on the journey home, or found the finest beer available to humanity in a tiny little pub.
Written by the fans for their fellow fans, it contains 240 pages of funny, poignant and emotional short stories and tall tales, plus 16 pages of full colour photos.
Donations - In March 2013 Nathanael Hornby, a 25 year old Gashead, sadly passed away after a battle with a brain tumour. 10% of any profits from the book will be donated in his honour to The Brain Tumour Charity (registered charity #1150054)
Full details, including a good look inside the book (cover pages, contents, introduction, 3 photo pages, and 9 text pages), and the best way to buy a copy, can be found at www.awaythegas.org.uk

- Family friendly? Certainly.
- Laughter? Indeed.
- Hokey cokey? Yes. That's what it's all about.
