Looking at the current clubs in the top 7, there is no team who will take more then 10,000. So if we did have to go to a play-off final, even with 15,000 we would have more Gasheads there then our opponents. A far figure would be around 15 - 20,000 gasheads. Grimsby would

We'd want as many as possible. Even if they haven't been for years. 1. Because we want the gawping millions watching the TV to be impressed by the the mighty Gas. 2. Because some of the returners might keep going - success breeds support. 3. Because Sinclair, Taylor, Trotman and all the rest would deserve to be blown out of their boots by the noise supporting them.
Let 'em all come and be welcome. UTG!

I don't think we'd get 40k for a conference play-off. Last time was different as it followed a season where we had already been to the Millenium beating City on the way. Also even if we had lost we would still be a league club whereas if we failed to win this playoff we would be condemned to another year of non league. I will have a job to convince myself to attend a conference playoff which could be potencially heartbreaking. I think if it happened a few of the less committed will save their money and nerves. Lets hope we don't need the playoffs

Definitely not below 20,000! We'd take 35,000+ without a doubt!

I would definitely make the 9,000 mile round trip to see my team at Wembley, just as before. Hopefully we'll be promoted as Champions so it'll be irrelevant, which is why the "play off" option might appear not so attractive right now. However should it come down to a Wembley trip, if they give us 40,000 tickets we'll take 'em. UTG!

Would you rather see 34,000 fair-weather occasional fans stay at home and just the true dedicated 6,000 regulars turn up then? They aren't like South Korean Man Utd fans who only ever watch on TV and buy replica shirts. They are mainly genuine fans who for dozens of reasons never attend matches. The main reason probably being that we've been cr*p for 13 years. No, the more the merrier. I'm not gonna lie though as it will irritate me a bit when if I'm sat next to someone who doesn't half of the player's names. we change managers / players so often even regulars don't know their names

Lets hope we don't need the playoffs surely every rovers match is pretty heart breaking. especially at this level. I think we may need the play-offs and getting to the final in our first season might be a good achievement.. BY THE BY - why is everyone assuming it will be for the play-off final. I can feel it in my bones that we are going to the FA Trophy final this season. Either that or we lose to The Rising Sun (Reserves) in the 1st round...
