Great team goal.
Not the most entertaining of halfs, but we've played some good stuff at times.
We look a lot more organised in every aspect.
Deservedly ahead.

Goid solid first half, only one team trying to win it. Very well worked goal, very classy. Total dominance in midfield!? Same players but we look much more comfortable there. Only small moan is Hanlon needs to work the keeper other than that, deservedly in front.

I really think hanlan is absolutely burnt out. Needs to be rested for a few games, he can’t trap a bag of cement these past few games. Past few games? That made I laugh. |

Daly for Hanlan at half time please. He can sniff out a goal. It’s no coincidence that our best bit of football that resulted in a goal didn’t include him. That’s really harsh considering he was involved in a lovely team goal against Wigan. He’s very capable but he’s been flogged to death and his confidence is shot. I’ve been vocal of my support of Hanlan this season and I think he’s being played out of position. He’s completely shot of confidence and needs a break from the action. |

Really good first half that.
Against a team in form as well.
Would have been a little worried if we had gone in 0-0 at half time as no matter how well we played it only takes one set piece at the other end and it’s game over.
Let’s hope we can keep it up second half.

This has been an awlful season thus, and both managers pre Barton have not been good enough and deserved the sack.
But while we have such a unbalanced squad and we have been water poor this season, there is some talent in this squad.Our technical ability is as good as anyone's outside the championship,and there is a lot for Joey to work with once this season is over regardless of what division we are in.We are about 3/4 players (key ones tho) away from us being a really good team.
I've got such a good gut feeling about Joey and his upcoming time here with us.

Although I can’t imagine many people are doing the VPN thing now that everyone in the UK can watch. Albeit at a higher price. Us foreigners pay £110 for the whole season. |

Thinking Rodders could be coming good at last! And nice that joey has asked for the crowd noise, shows he understands the spirit of football. Not just a techy like our last 2 managers Was that from over the PA system? as I heard it on the TV but thought it was from Rovers staff and media.. etc in the ground. |

Fully deserved lead and a superb team goal, ifollow playing up early on so missed the Hanlan chances but thought up until the goal we'd struggled to create anything clear cut. Cant believe Shrews will be as bad 2nd half so we have to make sure we dont gift them anything. I'd be tempted to take Hanlan off at HT, his hold up play has been poor and if he is carrying an injury then dont take any risks

Really solid first half and quality passing team goal... with the exception of the odd couple of minutes here and there, we’ve been pretty much in complete control .....
If we win I’m taking the credit as I’ve recently been putting £5 bets on Rovers to win BTTS, Leahy to score and Gas to win 2-1 or 3-1.... I’ve lost every time I’ve bet so today I didn’t and we’re winning and Leahy scores!

Just watched that back a few times. Even better goal than I thought. small mercies, but the back heel to rodders movement then the pass across the goal mouth was sublime. Got to say it was poor defending, but wont take that away from the goal |
