Great team performance until the final few minutes.
Don't think you can blame Barton for making the changes like he did, as the way we were set up with the high pressing, Hanlan, Nicholson, Westbrooke and Rodman ran themselves into the ground.
It's just typical Rovers to make it difficult for ourselves.
A much needed win, improved performances from everybody, we look a lot more organised and we look a far better team.
Onwards and upwards.

But we still gave them a chance at the death, why can't we defend crosses!! With Day's earlier save that's two decent saves our goalies have to pull off in injury time to get the win after having no shots to save for the other 90 mins. Regardless that's an amazing turn around since Tuesday, a few teams above the bottom 7 clubs must be looking over their shoulders now. |

The most complete performance of the season so far by far. High energy pressing from the start and throughout and always looking to play on the front foot. Can't fault any of the lads. Superb stuff. Well done to Joey, all the coaching staff and the players. Keep it going now. Onwards and upwards. UTG!!!
P.S. Those last few minutes though. Don't do that to us. Jeez. Got no nails left now and the old ticker can't take that!

Only weak link is harries, I personally think Baldwin was getting better and better and was quite creative, harries pass completions must be very low Do you even watch the game or just write comments before the match has started? Harries was fantastic today. |

Are we DEFINITELY down this week like a few are saying? got to be honest I have come off the FB page because I am fed up of hearing that crap,when it's simply not true, haven't been on here either because of the negative comments, this shows we are NOT definitely down or we would all be sulking and I believe in Joey. Phew! None of us ever thought it was going to be plain sailing at 2-0 going into the 90th minute!
Big win and a great shift from the players.
The only negative is I’m not a big fan of JB’s late triple substitution. He did it on Tuesday and the all the subs were at fault for those goals and today’s.
Tisdale would have been fuming with those goal and full time celebrations mind!

It's a step forward for us to be ALMOST conceding at the death and chucking a result away instead of ACTUALLY chucking it away at the death. Baby steps I guess. Next for Joey to stop our tickers being subject to that kind of thing. |
