Days a keeper, a good old kick in the face shouldnt stop him unless theres a break! Call me old fashioned. I think (could be wrong) there's something about having a 7 day break after a head injury. Did we have that earlier in the season with Daly? |

Is a face injury the same though? Will depend if he had concussion which almost certainly means he's out.
Burton haven't had many draws recently, especially at home, so by the law of averages I'll go for 2-2.

The squad had already left for Burton. I thought it was Andre Jnr training with the goalkeeping coach, so if Day is out, what other keeper is in the squad? I don't think I saw Jaakola training - is he being rushed back? |

Another tough game tonight as Burton have picked up massively lately....
I do think with our new found energy and confidence though that we’ll see this through and win 2-1 again... Hanlan and Nicholson to score...

With everything we know these days about brain injuries, concussions, and the links to dementia - I'm glad he's stood down.
In racing if you're knocked out you have to sit out for three weeks. If you are diagnosed with concussion, you must have six clear days off.
I don't know if Day was knocked out, but I would suspect that he had a big chance of being concussed.
