Think we will win 2-2

6 pointer tonight lads - we really do need to beat the teams in and around us NOW. Without doubt they had the new manager bounce after looking doomed. 3rd time lucky for us now with Joey so I have faith we will get a result tonight - going for a 2-1 Gas win at a place we normally struggle.
In becoming an overnight Charlton Plymouth Hull Shrewsbury and Sunderland fan I’m hoping for a double bounce lol

So this will be tougher than you would like even though they are down the bottom like us. Have taken 3 points of Hull and Charlton in recent weeks and matched them on the pitch not just got lucky. I like our new found way of setting up on the pitch with higher defensive line and pressing with Grant and Macca really getting into the second balls at the bottom of the box midfield. If we can get that to that structure quickly in this match and take a hold of the match then we should go on and win.

Concerns will be mainly around the set piece and long throw scenarios as the Burton team is or certainly was full of massive lads. This will be a challenge for sure on the back line which possibly is going to be slightly smaller if Baldwin and Ehmer are still not included. That being said Kilgour has been our best for Ariel battles won this season and Harries has done well with tackles and clearances. JvS will be in goal as Day is out after the boot in the face (no foul?!?) on Saturday so let's hope he is on his 'A' game.

If we get an early goal I feel we can grow and grow. The longer the game stays at 0-0 then the more likely I think we may lose. I am the ever optimist though and I think that Barton will have them fired up once again and it will be Burton 2 - 3 Rovers... we will be 3 up by the way

It is a 6-pointer but a draw will be a good result. As long as they don’t win I’ll be happy. I hope it’s the same team with the same approach. We completely outplayed the form team of the league on Saturday let’s hope we can do the same to another form team tonight. So I’ll go for a repeat of the match at the Mem, 1-1.

As you know all you well GGMI this is result for Gashead 73. If we win everybody’s happy and he won’t care he didn’t get his second chance. However if we lose he can always sit back and wash his hands of any responsibility for the defeat and if he’s feeling malicious he can point the blame squarely at Westy. For Gashead 73 it’s as good a deal as he’s likely to get being a rovers fan. 😂😂😂

I think we can sneak a win tonight but I’d settle for a draw.
