i dont think it helps to give points to players performances would anyone here wish to be judged on their performance in their job football is a game based on results. it doesn't take a fool to recoqnise this but dont you think it is in a way a down side on our players give me your thoughts on this but i wont be any different we are at a bad point in our season,we dont need to give players points if we do we all give them 10 out of 10 ! i think whoever started this points system was never at eastville we know we a not perfect but we try! I appreciate the post, but I disagree. The ratings are negative at the moment, but so are results on the pitch and footballers get judged on that ultimately. When we're playing well, the ratings are more positive. Also, the numbers aren't too much different to all the other opinions you'll find on this forum. I'd say that words like 'useless' or 'inept' (and those are some of the kinder ones) can be much more damning. But the numbers allow us to quantify that opinion a bit clearer and gauge the general mood of the forum, not just who shouts loudest/most.
