It’s all being driven through Leahy The second goal was all down to Upson's efforts in winning the ball and passing it forwards for a change.

We look energetic, committed and keen to go forward.
Jonah looks very good, some bite in the midfield at last and Nicholson plus Westbrooke doing very well,
Prince Harry Kilgour doing well...
Enjoyed that first half.., Game there for the winning boys!

Apologies I don't have the hour it usually takes me for the mega pre match stuff so here is a snapshot... which might just be better going forward. What to expect from Accrington: Majority of matches have been: 3-5-2 Top Goal Scorer: Charles Top Assists: Pritchard Great in the air: Sykes and Burgess They take a lot of shots, from anywhere, they play long balls, crosses, direct passes and basically get the ball into us as much as they can. Last time around it worked as they had 23 shots, 11 on target and scored 6. It wasn't the best win this season as they smashed Leeds kids 7-0 in the pizza cup. They are susceptible against skillful players and will likely foul rather than let them pass so if we can work on that and get our set piece game firing again that could be a decent route to victory. They don't lose many and certainly don't concede many either, biggest losses have been due to sending offs. Tough match ahead but I previously said we will win 4 - 0 and I am standing by that. Massive effort from the team tonight I can feel it in my bones. UTG Oooooh were halfway there ooooh living on a prayer (2 out the 4) utg

I liked Job's pre match interview ~ very honest and a wake up call to all players. Barton is the best man to save us and take forward. we should spend any money from a JCH sale on Luke he was superb the first half.

Can’t believe Rodman hasn’t featured more up until the last 3/4 games. He’s the first name on the team sheet for me. Hasn't he had a long-term vertigo problem.

Good first half performance, to be fair we’ve mostly played well during JBs first four games but mistakes at the back and poor finishing / final ball has let us down. It’s all about being clinical in both boxes and tonight we’ve done that so far. Probably a very tough 45 second half coming up so the players need to stay grounded and keep going, if we start sh**ting ourselves and defending on our keepers toes it could go wrong , just need to keep pressing them and stay focused. UTG Come on You a Blues ! We have the wind behind us, so it's going to be tough for Accrington keeping us penned back (in theory anyway!).

Radio commentary for me tonight. Was Nicholson involved in the 2nd goal? Commentary. "Upson, Nicholson, left foot, goal, Rodman" Was it a lay off or mistaken identity?

We Get to 52 points and none of those will matter. But we won't. So we have to hope 4 others will be worse than us. So these game are of importance. Were in a mini league of 7 I’d be surprised if the team that finishes one place above the drop zone be has less than .50 points. There’s so many matches left that worrying about what other sides are doing with a quarter of the season left is pointless The possibilities run in to their millions but to simplify it Bristol Rovers need to win as many as possible and aim for 52 points minimum. Sod everyone else.

Really good first half I must say watching that compared to the away fixture is like a different team.
Im not getting excited until the final whistle blows.

Very decent first half personally think Ayunga is making a huge difference with his ability to keep the centre backs occupied and more importantly keep the ball long enough for us to get support to him. Massively important we dont do anything different 2nd half, we've restricted them to one chance but as we've seen in the Shrewsbury game one momentary lapse and we'll be nervously hanging on again. Same again please boys

Having a whale of a time watching the gas 2-0 up. Having a bit of a sing song.
Makes you realise how much you miss having a bit of a sing and a bit of a shout in support of the lads, including a bit of pantomime drama with the referee, the opposition and if you're in the Dribuild the management team of the opposition when they have managers like Joey Barton Daniel Stendel in the dugout.

What a feeling to be 2-0 up at half time, I'd almost forgotten.
Every Rovers player giving it their all and although it wasn't always pretty (but who cares?) it was purposeful and effective.
More of the same second half please - UTG !!!

Sod everyone else. Not sure we are anymore. Shrewsbury and MK Dons getting dragged into it. Could be any number of teams from 9 or 10 come last day of the season... Ayunga has been absolutely superb tonight. He's doing everything we need a striker to do to bring Nicholson Westbrooke Rodman and Leahy into the game and start attacks.
