Really enjoyed that tonight.... Well done all. We look a real threat going forward with Jonah leading the line ... Leahy way better leader as well. Rodman and Upson were excellent ... lots of effort from everyone. Big game Saturday ...

Fair enough, I respect your opinion, but out of interest, what about Hanlan do you rate? For me, his control is poor and 90% of the time he loses the ball by either it getting away from him, or he goes to ground. Yeah, he needs to work on his first touch. He could probably do with bulking up if he is going to be an out and out front man. Remember he is young and has been used in a wider role before I believe. I think he has pace, some unpredictability, he has good close control, can be direct and can finish. It seems the only real criticism anyone ever has about him is that his first touch is poor. Imagine what a player he will be if he improves on that. I actually disagree about his close control, I think it's quite poor. As for unpredictability, yes he is unpredictable, but not in a good way. He seems to make strange decisions, which mainly involve him weaving his way around the pitch, but more often than not it's away from goal and into trouble. I do agree that he could be better in a wider role. I really hope he does make a successful career at the Gas and beyond, and perhaps his performances lately have purely been down to him not being 100% fit and certainly not 100% confident.

I am aware that some posters dislike me because of my views regarding the recruitment of Barton and the fact that I have returned my season ticket in protest. But I am still a supporter of the Gas and always will be. Great result tonight, good luck for the weekend. When Barton leaves the club, whenever that is, I will return to take my seat in the stand. Meantime, I for the reasons I have stated, Wilmot attend games, neither will I watch the games on I follow. Good luck to the gas. dont bother coming back, true fans stick with the boys in blue and white whenever and wherever especially when we are struggling in times like we are at present! You support the club not individuals who represent the club as every football club is bigger than the player/manager and owners so forget individuals who you may or may not like and support the club that you so say support! Your negativity doesn't help Bristol rovers football club when it needs your full support in times like these.

If Barton is successful and leaves us in a good place, you won't be able to reclaim your seat because they will all be sold to St holders.

4-1 we have let them off lightly here, missed so many chances. Good point. Although it’s nice to have made so many decent chances. Not happened much this season

I don’t know about you but Barton really does remind me of DC in the early days ? Regardless of if we stay up or not , I believe Barton is the man to take us forward , if fully backed. UTG

Great win , great performance second half especially, someone tell me why that wasn’t a penalty?? , if that was 0-0 and he’s not given it there would of been uproar , he needs to be punished for a dreadful decision. Fined and suspended. No wonder JB was having words at FT. Not good enough.

A great team performance tonight and having Ayunga up top makes a huge difference allowing the ball to be held up better and allowing players to move up the pitch which in turn takes pressure off the defence so less chance of making an error. Lets hope this is the turning point in our season and the rocket JB put up the players this week takes a positive turn and after tonight that looks like it worked. More twist and turns to come yet but it's starting to look a bit more promising.

League one is really shaping up for an interesting finish. Likkle Lee has got Sunderland rumbling along nicely with two games in hand on those above. They could easily win it. Three local teams top of league two also.
