Wow ... the buzz is back in my house for sure - How is everyone else feeling?
After Tuesday I am really looking forward to our game tomorrow - Could we deliver more of the same or was it a flash in the pan?
I think we win Saturday AND go to Charlton and get a result!!
Fingers crossed Boys!!
Same starting eleven surely? .... Will the guys build individually again and as a unit .... Excited already!!
Any one else in the mood for football?

Yeah, I was sick of it, and didn't even watch the Hull match. I nearly didn't watch the Accy match. And it seemed like every other day there was a new match, and they were just a chore to watch and I was dreading them rather than looking forward to them. Then suddenly (like Wednesday morning) I'm thinking 'When's the next match?'

Yes I have been buzzing ever since... you know me and the stats... and to see another performance of dominance and opponent shot suppression made my rose tinted glasses gleam... feels like it was a good summer window after all... feels like Joey Barton is exactly what this club needed and I am bouncing for the match on Saturday and am even starting to fear no-one in the league with our new team energy... feel like handing out contracts to players now to get them extended... yes I do get carried away and I love it! Will come back later and do some stat stuff but for now just wanted to join in with your feels mate UTFG

Ditto. (p.s. In all this new found excitement don’t forget it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday....or the season may end early! 😉)

Looking forward to Saturday for a change I know it's football and Wimbledon will come determined to burst that bubble, but at least after Tuesday I feel positive COYB.

Agreed, I can't wait for tomorrow's match! Desperately hoping for a similar display to Tuesday, and if we can get another win, I'd feel confident of us staying up.
Barring any injuries, surely we have to see the same starting 11 tomorrow? Ayunga made a massive difference up front on Tuesday, and he needs another crack at it tomorrow. Hopefully he'll be rewarded with a goal or two!

Strange though it may seem after Tues, but i am very nervous about Sat match, for no other reason than after supporting Rovers all these years there have been so many times when we have managed to fall flat on our face when you least expect it, hope i am wrong and instinct tells me JB will not allow any complacency to creep in and we simply have to approach the game in the same way we did v Stanley, can JB instil the right attitude into the players? hope so or else......!

Forget about Tuesday, it’s all about tomorrow and beating Wimbledon. Plan to do that, hopefully play like we did on Tuesday and get 3 points. But yes looking forward to winning, I hope. UTG!

Wanted to quickly check on the difference Robinson's appointment has had on them in terms of shots against and although a small sample size (7 league games) doesn't seemed to have made that much difference. Below you can see shot on the AFC Wimbledon goal (including those on target) Blackpool, Hull and Peterborough had the same if not better success and the other teams are majority at the bottom of the table and struggling for goals like we had been. Nice to know that we are the joint top team in terms of shots on their goal and I feel we can replicate that again tomorrow! UTG In terms of other stats or manager bounce you can have gander at this: So like many new managers (not all) the goals conceded reduces and the points per game increases at the sacrifice of goals scored (focus on being defensively stronger). That being said they are still facing a high number of shots and shots on target per game, so the holes might not quite be as big, but they are still there. Joey Barton's blues can certainly exploit this and it would be a real statement of intent to go and batter this mob tomorrow. UTFG

Enjoyed Clint Hill’s interview. Again speaks really well and is just down to earth.
Also picked up on ‘theyve got some good players at AFC, Will nightingale who we like”, potential summer signing if we stay up and AFC go down.

What's reckon about nightingale mate? Stats wise on par for Baldwin from my perspective... you have any interesting views?

We already know what it will be.
The beautiful sight of Luke Leahy appearing like a vision at the far post.
Amazing when we attack it’s like we have a winger, a full back and a 3rd overlapping wing back. I will name this individual the Holy Ghost of the left hand side.
Sadly like the Holy Ghost, Luke can be almost invisible in defence and at points provides as much protection as a wisp of sacramental incense.
