Imo Christmas is where the league starts to take shape. Its no longer early days and starts to get serious now. We need to keep the gap between us and Barnet the same if not closer before Christmas. Every point could be massive now so let's all push on together as one, fans and players We normally finish the season stronger then we start so I'm confident we can finish in the top 5. I'd probably take play offs right now but I've seen Barnet and grimsby still have to play each other twice and looking at our last month fixtures if we are there or there abouts come April im confident we have the easier run in so let's all give another big push before the new year and close the game with Barnet and stretch our lead from 6th.
In it together lets pack the mem and the away grounds and get behind the boys as much as possible and help the team to as many points as possible starting with tuesday at Wrexham.

We need a Barnet wobble to catch them, I thought that was on the cards yesterday but they did well to beat Macclesfield after being behind at half time.

They say if your points double your games played total your practically guarenteed promotion. Only Barnet are in this position so far so we need to be turning draws into wins ASAP. This needs to start with us breaking our bogie at Wrexham this Tuesday as our record there is awful

We're also about 4 games ahead of the Football League, so we've played as many games as we would have normally played by the end of the xmas period, already.

Do we really need barnet to have a wobble though? They could easily draw 2 games in a row and class then as decent points. We pick up 2 wins and that's 4 points ganned quite quick. 3 points Tuesday would be HUGE

UP THE GAS Yep, Barnet have still got to play FGR again as well which won't be an easy game for them.

I can't see Barnet playing FGR at home is going to be a Championship decider?
The next 3 games could go a long way to deciding if we can catch Barnet as we play Wrexham, Welling & Gateshead whilst Barnet just have the tricky game at Torquay. We could close the gap to just a couple of points, or even catch them, before they play on the Saturday but if the gaps still around 8pts they'll then take some catching.

The points gap can be at 8 pts up to about 8 games from the end and they could still be caught. 8 is the maximum you would want it to be though. One defeat for barnet if we can keep winning would be 5 pts with a game in hand, its that close so that win on Tuesday was vital.

We MUST keep the pressure on. I actually had a nibble on us before yesterday at 7/1 to win the league.

In theory it can be 8pts with 3 games to go and they can still be caught but the longer it does on with that gap, then psychologically it comes harder to close.

They might win the league yet and not be allowed to go up. www.onlybarnet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8657www.harrowtimes.co.uk/news/10535509.print/

I'm sure I read somewhere they are only temporary tenants anyway. Although nice and new, it's pretty small for the league so prob would be a struggle anyway. I suspect they'd find another ground share pretty easily given where they are
