Jaakkola 8 MOTM so nice to have his reassuring confidence back
Williams 5 some dodgy dodgy passes
Kilgour 6 marshalled Wyke well
Leahy 6 good game in an unfamiliar position
Grant 6 did the dirty work well
Martinez 6 didn’t look at all out of place
McCormick 5.5 great energy and press, poor on the ball
Westbrooke 4 slowed play down too much and his set pieces dreadful
Hanlan 5 must be so frustrating to play with as loses possession or gives needless fouls so often
Ayunga 5 in and out of the game
Walker 5.5 our most sparky attacker but faded badly
Subs: Oztumer 6 should be starting games
Tutonda 5.5 did ok
Barrett 6 better player than Westbrooke on that showing
Baldwin nole
Ref 7 had it right
Sunderland 6.5 a decent team

Jaakkola Showed why we have missed him so much, quality performance no chance on goal. 8
Williams Switched off to give them the goal, will be fine in league 2, 5
Kilgour one mis control but otherwise sound 7
Leahy generally ok today but deduct a point for the time he takes on each throw in which prevents quick ball and puts us under pressure. 5
Grant OK today 6
Martinez Good debut but its faster out there then he is use to 6
McCormick last few games seems to have lost the magic 6
Westbrooke closes down but needs to tackle, his passing wasn't great today 6
Hanlan Flatters to deceive falls over and whines too much, always one touch too much 5
Ayunga Has to hit the target, and when you big if you look guilty you will always have free kicks awarded against you, more aggression needed should be winning every ball in the air 6
Walker neat feet and had a great break but fluffed his lines 6
Subs: Oztumer hasn't been the star we were hoping for. OK today but it didn't happen for him. 6
Tutonda looked ok on the wing, golden chance to shoot but passed 6
Barrett nice touches but a luxury player who doesn't look fit enough. 6
Baldwin Can't see he will be with us next season on this performance 5

No luck at the moment and we are getting punished for every mistake. Need a change of luck. Make no mistake that if we go down it's not for games like today, it's defeats to the Rochdale/Swindle types. Got to stop giving away silly goals like that from set pieces!! UTFG

Jaakkola 7 - shame that he has come back too late to save us
Williams 4 - after a good first few games doesn't look like a League One defender
Kilgour 6 - reasonable performance and only a few mistakes
Leahy 7 - played well
Grant 6.5 - reasonable performance at the back
Martinez 5 - not too bad for a first start but did not make much of an impact
McCormick 6.5 - amazing energy but lacked a bit of quality
Westbrooke 4 - actually made a couple of tackles but lacked the quality to make an impact
Walker 5.5 - a few fancy flicks and turns but never really looked like scoring
Ayunga 4.5 - didn't look like scoring and lost the ball too much
Hanlan 5 - looked dangeous a couple of times but too many times moves break down when he is on the ball. Did not look a goal threat.
Subs: Oztumer 6 - a nice cameo. Made more impact that Westwood
Tutonda 5.5 - a few neat moves
Barrett 5.5 - a few good moments but looks like he could not last long
Baldwin 5 - looked like a mistake waiting to happen

Jaakkola - 8. So pleased to have him back. Calming authoritative influence at the back.
Williams - 3. Had a shocker. Looked good when he first came in, all gone downhill in recent times.
Kilgour - 8. Did well and kept the dangerman quiet, which a lot of other clubs have failed to do. Perhaps feels happier having jaak behind him? Hope its a minor knock.
Leahy - 5. Did ok. Last few games he's stopped getting forward.
Grant - 6. Looked more comfortable dropping back into defence and pressed well first half
Martinez - 6. Tough game in which to make your debut. Did ok, faded second half as you would expect.
McCormick - 5. Hasn't looked himself in recent games and apart from a few bursts was fairly anonymous. Might be fatigued.
Westbrooke - 3. Offers very little and set pieces were poor (again!). Wouldn't be too disappointed if he left in the summer, hasn't impressed me at all.
Walker - 7. Some lovely moments and looked dangerous. Great debut.
Ayunga - 4. Service wasn't great but didn't hold much up and once again didn't look like scoring. Poor.
Hanlan - 5. Looks frustrated (nice to see some passion) and credit to him playing through injury.
Subs: Oztumer - 6.5. Has to start next game.
Tutonda - Ditto, has to start next game. Offers pace and is dangerous.
Barrett - n/a nice to see him back.
Baldwin - n/a
Ref - 7. Did ok.
Sunderland - 6. Route one long ball team. Improved second half. Will get battered in the championship unless they spend a lot of cash in the summer

Jaakkola 8 m.o.m its great to have him back !!! Williams 5.5 he's been a bit under par recently and was caught sleeping for the goal Kilgour 6.5 put in a good shift with not too many mistakes Leahy 6,5 decent, took one for the team which was a good decision. Grant 7 played well in a more defensive roll. Martinez 7 a good debut and looks to have a bright future. McCormick 6.5 always works hard but as usual cant hit the target. Westbrooke 6 poor deliveries blight his games, and today was no exception Walker 6.5 a good full debut, he's another one for the future, Ayunga 6 one very good effort, and put himself about but still a work in progress Hanlan 6 I can fault his effort but I cant see him ever getting regular goals. Subs: Oztumer 6 looked ok in his short time on, he really needs to start games Tutonda 6 as Oz, he has quality and should also start. Barrett 6 he looked as bit slimmer and does have quality but can he keep fit? Baldwin 5 didnt affect the game much Ref 8 good Sunderland 7.5 we gave them a game but their quality was evident, however they might struggle if they go up. |

Williams 5 when goal was in he was closest but no one challenged or marked.
Kilgour 7 helped keep Wyke quiet.
Leahy 7 solid.
Grant 7 nice debut in defence.
Martinez 6.5 solid start.
McCormick 6 quieter game than normal.
Westbrooke 4 poor predictable dead ball deliveries and rightly subbed.
Walker 7 lively debut.
Ayunga 6.5 worked hard.
Hanlan 5 ineffective.
Subs: Oztumer 6.5 marginally better than Westy.
Tutonda 7 nice addition unlucky with his effort drawing good save.
Barrett 4 poor.
Baldwin 5.5 adequate cover for Alfie.
Ref 3 awful again with inconsistency.....booked Leahy a few seconds after missing a blatent pull back on our attacker (walker?).
Sunderland 6 I thought we competed and frustrated their attack. They easily defended our attacks, we continue to make it convenient because we have no pace or intelligent running, but we did have half chances and done well against promotion candidates.
