.... especially this good looking young dude. Even a few in NZ. At least your lad has tasted success as the National Champions. It would be cruel to introduce him to the Gas. Trapped like us in a never ending vacuum of despair.

gasshole, that year when we got to the final we were on holiday about 400km north of Gosford. We drove down from our holiday to see the semi final game and then went back up to join the happy campers. Next morning I was in MacDonalds carpark trying to log on to their free wifi to get my ticket for the final. Got two of course.

If we win our tie against Bath / Gloucester we will be rewarded with ........£5000. If we win the second round........£6000. Eventually a win at Wembley will net us £50,000. Having said that the gate receipts for a Wembley final would double that so just like the Johnson Paint Trophy the final is worth it. Do the teams get a share of the gate though? I would have thought it would go into the "Conference Coffers" to pay for Jolly Jaunts for the board to see England away. Not to mention the brandy & cigars for when the board meetings have finished. Net gate receipts are split equally in all rounds (except the final, where each club gets 45% and the 'pool' (ie Conference) gets 10%)...so I suspect at least one team and the Conference Board would like us to reach Wembley...

theres no tuesday night game that week so i think he will play a full strenth team Unless there are postponements or FA Trophy replays there are no more Tuesday night game at all so given that we could easily play a full strength side in this competition. (not that I am saying we should do that)

(not that I am saying we should do that) That assumes no Saturday league game gets postponed, which is pretty unlikely at this level? Perhaps that's why they keep mid week free in the new year??

(not that I am saying we should do that) I think the Conference have learnt their lesson and get a good chunk of the fixtures out of the way early to prevent the fixture chaos that some have had before.
