I still think Barrett could turn out okay with a full pre-season into his legs and a clear structure etc. Think Rodders might stay in too though, maybe with a few clauses in his contract.

I think Barrett is very lucky he has a year left on his contract I am pretty sure he would be released a disastrous signing never fit and overweight

Leahy wont stay with us when we are relegated. Nor will Jaakola or Nicholson. Cant see many L1 clubs wanting too many others though. Leahy was crucified on here I wouldn’t blame him wanting out if he did. he wont be here. Too many other options.too good to be here.one of the few that has shown any fight this season |

Icegas, Rodman is 34 and very injury/illness prone.Can we really afford to take a chance on him? Barratt is young and on a contract so we will have little choice. Rodman is very much a manager's type of player, I'm pretty sure that he'll be with us next season. All depends on injuries though. I think we all like Rodman and see what he brings to the table, but the problem is that he only plays 15 games a season. Too many times in the past (including now) we’ve relied on good injury prone players and it never really works for us as a team. |

I am n ot sure if Zain walker is a striker,a midfield player, or a winger. As regards Barrett I see a good player in there but it is whether we get to see a fit Barratt. I am sure that if Joey is in charge we will either see a fit Barratt or we wont see him at all.

So difficult to say really.
But of the players who are ours and that I think have potential or deserve a chance next season as it stands now.
Jaakola
Kilgour, Leahy, Tutonda, Williams, Hare
Grant, Westbrooke, Walker, Martinez, Nicholson
Hanlan, Daly.
The season isn't done so don't want to write off players. There are 5 games left for some to show they have the character to play for us.

Now that Hearts have confirmed promotion to the SPL, what’s the chances they will come sniffing around Sam Nicholson again?
He would have to be tempted by the prospect of playing in front of massive crowds at Rangers and Celtic plus Edinburgh derbies v Hibs.
We could of course potentially offer him games v Sutton Utd and Harrogate Town.
Wouldn’t blame him if he were tempted.

Hanlon is a tricky one as he is joining the list of non scoring strikers that we all want to do well but never looks like scoring. Ayunga to me needs a good coach, has the basics but is to ponderous and a bit too nice. Barrett keep but have him on a wage that reflects games played. Rodman passed his best as is Upson |

I am sure there are better experienced players out there than the ones we have at the moment No doubt there’s a queue of them who can’t wait to join us in league 2 For what it’s worth I don’t think we need a massive overhaul, just a trimming down and a decent spine added One real captain no nonsense centre back An New fitter Abs replacement And an experienced forward The problem we will have is too many fringe players on contracts next season |

Steve, I don't think our managers have quite worked out about Zain either which I think has been to ours and his detriment. I would stick him up front next to one of the main two, he looks to have pace and some tricks and could unsettle a fair few of the league 1 central defenders, but then I think JD would as well and he doesn't get much of a look in either so what do I know!! |

For that reason I think he may suit a formation being one of three number 10s (as it were) and a lone striker. |

Too many other options.too good to be here.one of the few that has shown any fight this season Regardless of which division we are in next season (and the odds are on L2), I would be very surprised if Leahy is here He's one of the very few who have enhanced their reputation this season. Put simply he can do much better than us next season. |
