For those who can't be bothered to read the article the list is Alexis Andre, Zain Westbrooke, Tom Davies, David Tutonda, Josh Hare, Mark Little, Luke Leahy and Alex Rodman. Of these Tutonda and Westbrooke are the only 2 who would still be under contract. The rest are coming to the end of their deals so could easily depart.
Edited: After reading the article properly, thanks to alanrg

I doubt we'd keep Leahy if we go down, as for the rest.. well, it's another year older for a few of them and we haven't seen much of the rest!

I think Tutonda should be released personally I don't think JB is impressed with what he has seen so far and bar 2 games and a trial game that he has played ok in I haven't seen any progress.

Anybody think Westbrooke might want to jump ship if we get relegated also Nicholson and Jaakkola might leave as well be interesting regarding Barrett if the club put him on the transfer list

I see Tutonda just like Hare, very good Non League Full Backs but not good enough for Football League standard.
Same with Joe Partington.

I would consider Barrett and Little as Players of a negative return and would be surprised if they were retained. Rodman ever since his arrival has frequently suffered injuries so his impact has been limited and appears as a risk not worth pursuing going forward. We need Players who can last a full season as a bare minimum. We cannot afford to pay good wages whilst remaining semi permanently attached to the treatment room beyond normal wear and tear, if that is possible.

Although Barrett has still been in squads picked by both Tisdale and Barton. Is it because of lack of options? Or because they see something special in training behind tbe scenes?

Good point, we've only seen (not a lot), and 3 managers have seen him on the training ground and stuff, so I'd like to trust their judgement but then this season doesn't leave me with much trust!

Perhaps we should pay more attention to a perspective Player's history before signing. It could be we just hope for the best and ignore the seemingly obvious such as Tariq a few years ago. It seemed we got lucky with Bodin but stung with Barrett and Little both of whom had big question marks against them prior to their arrival.

IMO it's time to release Rodman when his current contract expires. I'm sure we can find an equivalent replacement who is both younger and cheaper.

I'd be very surprised if Westbrooke would be relishing the opportunity to play L2 football.

I can't recall any big question marks over Barrett's match fitness, just that he carried a bit of extra weight.

I've been resigned to us being in L2 next season for a few weeks now, and had made my peace with it. However, seeing the inevitable loss of Nicholson and Jaak in black and white, has refreshed my feeling of anger and sadness about it.

Yes and most of the matches Rodman has missed this season were down to a freak illness. I certainly wouldn't class him as injurt prone and would definitely offer him a new deal.
