Don’t get people trying to defend Barrett the guy has never been fit picking up hamstring injuries the guy is a total liability

Tutonda needs another chance, and Westbrook could still make something of himself. I doubt we'd keep Leahy if we go down, as for the rest.. well, it's another year older for a few of them and we haven't seen much of the rest! I think Tutonda should be released personally I don't think JB is impressed with what he has seen so far and bar 2 games and a trial game that he has played ok in I haven't seen any progress. Remember when Tutonda was the next Roberto Carlos after a couple of games?

I think Rodman could get a contract at L1 club, maybe Cheltenham or Newport, if they are promoted. He was pretty useful at wingback for GC.

Wouldn't be surprised if Rodman went back to shrews to be honest.... He's a Midlands lad and obviously is very good at off field stuff which I'd imagine he will be looking at....

IMO it's time to release Rodman when his current contract expires. I'm sure we can find an equivalent replacement who is both younger and cheaper. I doubt we can for the money we are willing to pay. Rodman is one of the only players from our current squad that can look at himself in the mirror and say he has earned his crust. The times he has played recently he has been outstanding. I would keep whatever league we are in but on a reduced wage due to his injury's.

No doubt there’s quality there but if he can’t get in shape by the start of next season he needs to be let go. Absolutely no excuse for a pro footballer not to be in good shape even when recovering from injury.

His partner’s parents live just across the bridge, in Newport, and he’s only 90 minutes from his own family. It’s the first time he’s bought a house, so I presume he likes the Bristol area. If Rovers are savvy they could harness some of his business experience when he finishes playing.

I would consider Barrett and Little as Players of a negative return and would be surprised if they were retained. Rodman ever since his arrival has frequently suffered injuries so his impact has been limited and appears as a risk not worth pursuing going forward. We need Players who can last a full season as a bare minimum. We cannot afford to pay good wages whilst remaining semi permanently attached to the treatment room beyond normal wear and tear, if that is possible. “Negative return” is being kind. Personally I would sack Barrett on the spot the day after relegation. There’s ordinary folks doing the Body Coach from home who are fitter than this fella.

Remember when Tutonda was the next Roberto Carlos after a couple of games? Thing is, he never got any more games. So from what I saw was a strong start and then dropped off the radar. Saw Barratt on the field more often since Tuts disappeared and we all know how his time with us has been...!
