Ian Hamilton played in the very first Rovers match I saw @ Eastville, vs QPR on 27.12.64.
I have a vivid memory of standing in the Tote End with my father in freezing conditions and, like a previous poster has said, being surprised to see Ian wearing gloves.
It did him no harm as he scored twice in a 3-1 victory. The start of my love affair with the Gas. Great days.
