Day 6.5 - didn't do much wrong and one good save
Williams 4.5 - looked lost
Kilgour 5 - good in parts but poor distribution
Baldwin 3.5 - has the ability but cannot be a regular when making so many costly mistakes
Hare 4 - looked confused about his role
Hargreaves 3.5 - ineffective. Perhaps not surprising with lack of game time
Westbrooke 3.5 - another poor pass led to the move for their goal. Almost criminal how he doesn't utilise his undoubted talent
Leahy 7 - defended ok and looked our most likely player to score
Rodman 5 - not up to his usual standard
Hanlan 3 - not a striker
Oztumer 4 - a few good moments but more bad ones. Ineffective
Subs: Liddle 2 - out of his depth but lack of game time must have had an impact on his performance
Daly 3.5 - tried but not the answer
Walker nole
Tutonda nole
Ref 6
Crewe 6 - far better than us but were helped by Rovers players with no desire and lack of a game plan. Barton's body language, tactics etc did not help us. If Crewe had more composure in front of goal it would of been a bigger defeat.

Westbrooke.3.5 Another mediocre and uninspiring display.Think it's there somewhere but rarely on view.

Well run club.Neat ground.Superb youth set up and sadly we never got to the Best in the league Chippy opp their ground.Did the double over us like many others.
Most depressing season all round of my 65 years and still no ground improvements.

Kilgour 2.5 Doesnt mark and loses concentration.Distribution awful.Have my doubts he will be any better in League 2
Baldwin 2 Continues to give diabolical goals away. Bambi on ice. Must get rid of
Hare 3 Uninspiring. Get rid.
Hargreaves 2 Non league player
Westbrooke 3 Disappointing but really needs to be alongside a ballwinner
Leahy 7.5 MOM Mistakes have gone out of his game.Inspiring
Rodman 4.5 Not at his best
Hanlan 5 Some good runs but a winger not as striker
Oztumer 5 Didnt have a good game but provided our brighter moments with a couple of defence splitting balls.Needed a ballwinner to p0rovide him with the ball

If you think the players deserved more for their pathetic efforts yesterday then perhaps it is you who is being pathetic and rose tinted.These are players who are paid good money to represent our club. I don't even see your marks above so what gives you the right to criticise mine and if you don't agree with honestly marking players then why read them anyway,put it that way why even be on a social medea site if you feel that way? Do you feel we should say Well played and give them all 6 or above?

If bigal40 cares to look at my all-time season stats, he or she will clearly see that my ratings are around the average for all posters on here. True this is a social media site, but unlike Twitter/Facebook etc where people post racist comments etc knowing they can remain anonymous, I choose to post on here. I do so knowing that a number of people know who I am and have seen me at Rovers games home and on occasion away. |

I havent checked Bidefordgas but I think I am up near the top marks on the averages but for me theh performances against Crewe on Saturday and MK Dons just over a week ago were the worst performances I have seen in a long time.Like you I am known by quite a few on here from my match report so am not hiding behind a keyboard slinging insults. I would much rather be marking 9 out of 10 and praising a player up thats for sure! It gives me no pleasure whatsoever to give low marks and bad comments however these players have let down my football club especially recently.

You only get so many chances in football and if you have been out oif the team most of the season then you have to make the most of the chances you do get. I have seen nothing in Hargreaves to suggest he will become a good player at even League 2 standard.

Like Steve, Bidefordgas and others, people on this forum know me, and after 50 years of watching Rovers like many others I feel justified in saying what I feel about my club within guidelines of course.
