IF he was fit and we could guarantee games out of him absolutely. I am sure someone will give him an opportunity, but I just don't think we should or can take the risk

Offer him a decent deal, don’t go all out with Bennett like wages, but still a decent deal. If he signs great, if not no worries. I don’t expect he’d want to drop into League Two, but you never know.
Bodin and Nicholson in the same side could either be a dream or a nightmare depending on how fit and injury free they managed to keep themselves.

Depends on his wage demands.
If he'd agree to a low basic wage but a big appearance bonus then I'd say it was worth the risk. Would love to see him in the quarters again.

IF he'd be willing to accept a pay as you play deal it would be a no-brainer

His PNE highlight seems to be a goal against West Ham in a pre season friendly. That says it all after 3 years there.

Amazing player on his day and scorer of some of the best goals I’ve seen from Rovers. His career has been blighted by injuries and we were probably very lucky to have got as many games out of him that we did. Not worth the risk of taking him back IMO - time to look forwards not backwards.

On a basic salary with a goal / appearance bonus then i would have him back in a shot. Would no doubt prefer League One but with his injury record may have to take any offer.

Although a quality player he has spent far to much time at Preston injured, he has always been injury prone, we need fit players.Nicholson is a quality player hopefully he will stay fit for next season if he does, he will have a big impact in league two.

Won't last five minutes in League two. Too much of a risk imho. The last thing we want is another sicknote.

Can’t see him wanting to drop 2 divisions , a massive drop in wages and none of his old mates are now at the club , really can’t see it happening. Also he’s constantly injured , we’ve been down this rd before multiple times and it’s normally ends in a cul- de-sac .

Cant see him coming to us in L2 again. If he was fit and wanted to, then I think he would probably be one of the best players in the league.

He did ok last time 😀 He is three years older and his stats at Preston clearly show he is a sicknote. As someone previously said we were probably lucky to get what we did out of him. Good old Phil Kite our medical department no doubt.

He did say in that recent web chat thing with Sincs, Lines and James Clarke etc he would like to return to play for the club, if I remember correctly.
