New name on the cup, when was the last time that happened? Leicester City seem to have got an awful lot right these last few years, perhaps Wael should have a chat with there owners ! pleased for them and there owners especially after the tragic events a few years ago.

Enjoyed that . I’ve not bothered to watch the final for the last few yrs because I’d lost a bit of interest in it, but today’s game was different somehow. Well done Leicester 👏

Agree with Marshy , do not like VAR but in this case it seems it enabled the right decision to be made. I suppose if you are Leicester or any other team on the right side of it , its great , if you are Chelsea or other victims it stinks!

One good thing is that we’ll never see VAR at the Mem, as we lucky to see running water there! Don’t get me wrong I’m not a Chelsea supporter and fair play to Leicester, what was offside there though his left sack?

I was gonna paint the fence this afternoon (wish i had) but couldn't be arsed so watched the borefest instead..i thought VAR would probably decide it by some pathetic decision.. as it turned out it was by a massive 2 millimeters 🙈

Wigan Athletic I think. I enjoyed that and although I dislike VAR intensely I was delighted one of the non-big six won The F.A. Cup. Leicester fought for every ball as underdogs have to if they're to have any chance to succeed. Well done The Foxes.

Well this thread started off bemoaning the demise of the FA cup, judging by the reaction of everyone connected with Leicester City ,from owner through to fan , you could be forgiven for thinking its the greatest thing since sliced bread. There unrestrained joy was infectious and gives hope there may yet be a place for the old lady in todays money driven game and leads one to the conclusion that it is not the fans, not the clubs( aside from the so called top 6, super league exponents) but those who run the game and put cash before all else by eg playing semi finals at Wembley, letting tv dictate format and kick off times and generally selling the sole of the competition to the highest bidder, shame on them and those clubs who pay no respect to the old trophy, Leicester's victory was a welcome reminder of how things used to be!
