But you can still catch it and carry it if your double jabbed. You can catch it from someone double jabbed in the supermarket. Makes know difference if I’m jabbed or not to anyone. You are far less likely to be a carrier if your doubled jabbed. You really need to sit down and educated yourself about the advantages of being vaccinated. Lol. But you can still carry it. And, pass it on. So...those who are double jabbed should only worry about passing on their virus to those who aren't.

This vaccination passport should not be a thing and is a load of bollox. My decision if I get vaccinated or not, think the government needs to stop forcing it on people who choose not to be vaccinated. Why do I need to have a jab when, you’ve had the jab? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ? Mate , TRUST me when I say , do NOT say anything else about not getting the vaccine , It turns ugly on here real quick and they all turn on you like a pack of wolves 😂 I'm not getting it either. Nor my wife, brother, dad, most of my cousins(I have a lot of those), sister in nhs-respiratory ward. I've had lots of vaccines over the years. Not sold on this one and am really not appreciating the blackmail campaign. Enjoy your boosters though guys! See ya.

I haven't had the vaccine but it's more, not now rather than a not ever. For me from day 1 I've had cynically minded alarm bells ringing about this whole situation and so much just doesn't add up for me. I am just going to lie low and watch how this all plays out. I think this is still the start. Out of interest, what would persuade you? if it was mandatory or life isn't worth living without it.

Listening to Steve Cotterill's account today, it feels like a brave decision if you're over 40.

Next month, Christmas, next year, five years time? no set time limit, I work from home, and live a family life. I don't have to use external entertainment etc facilities. Just keep plodding on really.

Presumably your family aren't leaving the house either then? partner works from home, son goes to school so yes I may catch from him, and pass it on and be a murderer. If that's what your getting at? I'm a murderer for choosing not to have a vaccine yeah? Because other than that my life and body is mine thanks. Enjoy BBC news at 10.

Genuinely didn't know this. Is it true? I always thought it didn't really impact the spread of Covid too much but just reduced the symptoms / impact if you did catch it hence why cases are shooting up but hospitalisations / deaths are massively reduced from previous spikes. 50% less likely to transmit if double dosed I think Also 50% more likely to transmit if double dosed

I'm all for challenging things and not taking everything at face value, or what the media tell us. I'm just genuinely curious about the rationale that having the vaccine is more risky than catching Covid, especially if you're over 40. I've seen and heard enough from my work and those around me to know this is very much real and can devastate.

Same here mate , totally agree with you , good to have you back on the forum Cheers mate! It's been a while. This is just another in a line of divisive topics really. Climate, Brexit, USA election, BLM, Covid, shame people just cant let others have their own feelings without being pigeon holed or criticised. This is England, not North Korea! If these measures are genuine and the club do this, I just won't go at all. I'll pay for iplayer and buy a shirt instead. Everyone's a winner.

Original article suggests that big events have problems with internet signal when everyone arrives at the ground and tries to pull theirs up. So getting a paper copy is not a bad shout. In that scenario would a screenshot of the vaccine page of the NHS app suffice - if yes perhaps worth doing that before getting to the ground and struggling to access the app? You have the option to download a pdf file with the QR code and details. Stays valid for a month, then need to download a further copy. This is saved on the phone so easily accessible. You also get the option of having it emailed so you can print it too.

The NHS app won't work for people registered outside of England.
However, the parallel process in Wales can be found through:
I've just used it and got the Covid Passport OK
Just seen your post above mine, is what I am getting the same as you? Aah. Mine's the same and expires tomorrow. I guess we will have to wait for the next announcement from Welsh Gov., but at least getting the passport/QR code was easy enough.

Then once you contact your registered GP for your NHS number, you can get it all via the NHS app. The NHS app won't work for people registered outside of England.

Blimey, didn't know that. Good update chap.

I think we'll be ok at the Mem... Fair point getting paper copy as back up though. You never know! Still confused as to how you prove at the turnstile (presumably) that a bit of paper is yours and not someone else’s……. Mine's got my name on so that probably helps.
