Anti vaxxers inevitably take treatment. Even if that treatment doesn't have 40 years behind it. Go figure Selfish, selfish, selfish! Its their right of course. They will get treated just the same as anyone else should they fall ill.

I donât want a vaccine , my choice. You want a vaccine , your choice. I respect your views , you respect mine , simple as that. It really is that simple , I certainly wonât be shouted down by anyone for having a difference of opinion. Covid respects neither of us.

If any establishment wants proof of vaccination from you to protect either its staff or its customers, then you must accept the consequences of opting out of the vaccination programme

Oh and then ask health care professionals to risk their lives caring for them when they are ill...ummmm

Proven data. The Royal Navy aircraft carrier QE2 is today reporting that over 100 of the crew of about 1000 sailors has contracted covid. They have all been double vaccinated. i.e. 10% of the crew. Extrapolate that into the crowd at the Mem and a crowd of 6000 could result into 600 infections. 8000 crowd 800 infections. Infections possibly more as some fans won't be double jabbed. Being on a submarine is a lot different from being in an open air stadium. Launching an F35 from a submarine is an interesting occupationâŠ..đ€âŠ.and somewhat tricky đ€Ș

You can get the proof in writing When you have the jabs you get a card When I got my 2nd jab a few weeks ago they wouldn't fill the card out. They said it was purely done off the app now and the card was therefore meaningless. You do have the option from within the app to download a PDF copy of the COVID Pass or receive an offline copy by e-mail. Presumably for travel you would need this to be accompanied with some form of photo ID, but not sure how such a thing would work on the turnstiles at Rovers. I suspect you'll be able to just flash anything with an NHS logo on it at them and they will let you in...

Oi, I used to be a sailor! Yeah, fair point. Just read that the source of it is a group of crew that partied in Cyprus during a spell ashore. lol. As I mentioned on another threadâŠhow times have changed. A long deployment usually meant more diseases of the type - âGive it a while and if it sneezes weâll call it a coldââŠâŠđ

Or are they just content to let others do the hard yards.

When you have the jabs you get a card They have said that wonât comply. Thatâs if you mean the card they stamp? There is an NHS App (not the NHS Covid App) this has the vaccination date and detail and will act as your pass. its easy if you have a mobile. Regardless of the whys and confusion you can show your ST and app pass and in you go. As for the mask, thats another story.

You can still carry it and pass it on to someone who is a lot more vulnerable. A friend of my family has just died after contracting Covid in nursing home after having both jabs, but was too old to fight it. Fine don't get the jab, but don't expect to be able to do everything you used to do without them. But you can still catch it and carry it if your double jabbed. You can catch it from someone double jabbed in the supermarket. Makes know difference if Iâm jabbed or not to anyone. The virus can't multiply as quickly in someone who has been vaccinated, so you're less likely to pass it on, but the new variants are far more transmissible, so this benefit is negated a bit.

My mum doesn't have a mobile phone or computer, she also doesn't have photo ID as she doesn't drive or travel abroad. Just wondering if some of our more mature supporters will have similar issues re. proof of vaccination - or maybe my mum is the last of the dinosaurs?
