So he's been brought in to sign youngsters, develop them and create a profitable business model for Swindon. Sound familiar?
Whilst over here in the real world, we can't even get rid of his players for free 😂

I wonder if he might take some of r players the likes of Harries and Ayunga Well I think they’ve got 9 at the moment so they need to act quickly to get numbers in. And Westbrooke, Harries, Baldwin, Ayunga would be good shouts in League 2 I’d have thought. We’ll see. He might not have been good here (but neither was Tis nor JB so far) and this has got “bitten on the bum“ all over it for us. UTG!

Let's hope he takes his signings up the road to prove us wrong!

Only player you listed there with some ability.

But I’m not sure JB sees it the same way and we know he has to get players off the books. I hope it’s others but because he has some ability there would be some interest in him. UTG!

Will be interesting to see how Barton discusses the game beforehand having publicly called Garner negligent! Hopefully he will keep his mouth shut but he does find that challenging

Seems a bit old mates to me.
Chorley is younger than Garner and has even less managerial and coaching experience, but seems to be set up to run the show, with Garner as a coach in the way it used to be meant. Training and tactics.
What could possibly go wrong?

I don’t wish him any malice personally. But it’s a heck of a risk Swindon are taking. I can’t see it working but football, as they say, is a funny old game and we will wait and see. I wonder what he said about us in his interview though. Must have been asked about his time with us.

Can see them storming the league playing tippy tappy possession based football.

I hope Garner does well. Seemed like a nice guy. He takes us from 4th in the table to 4th bottom in the space of a year. He must certainly have something about him to do that especially when getting backed to the hilt to bring in his players and getting rid of the experienced ones that had served us so well. In fact if someone came in with the express intention to destroy Bristol Rovers they could hardly have done a better job. Yet we have fans wishing him the best and hoping he does well because he seemed like a nice guy! It’s no wonder we are a hopeless cause playing in a sh** stadium bumming around in the bottom league and left well behind by all of our previous equals like Cardiff, Swansea, Reading, Bournemouth and Brentford is it when our fans are so benign about failure and so accepting of the people that are the architects of that failure.

I wonder if this could be the new and interesting challenge Widdington is looking for. In resuming his partnership with Garner

Absolutely astonishing that he's got another job in football management. And at L2 at that. Utterly dumbfounded. On the brightside, gotta be worth throwing every spare penny to your name on Swindon gojng down. Licence to print money Attachment Deleted

who would have thought that when we drew away at Sunderland first game of last season that we would be sat here discussing Garner taking over at Swindon and us being relegated. In terms of the man himself I wish him luck because at the end of the day everybody deserves another chance but because of what he did to my team I hope he fails miserably.
