We've got 4 tickets and a positive CV19 test, so we can't go!! Gutted! Wonder how many that's going to happen to over the coming months.

Seems so poorly thought out that they've removed entry requirements of negative tests or double jabs.
When our game next week could be off due to positive cases!
We're all going to get pinged next week.

Hardly engaged with the forum since March 2020 as I felt disconnected from the club whilst we couldn’t go to games. But now I’m back and ready to feel deflated again come 5pm!

Hardly engaged with the forum since March 2020 as I felt disconnected from the club whilst we couldn’t go to games. But now I’m back and ready to feel deflated again come 5pm! It's been awful hasn't it? That miserable isolation, that depressed claustrophobic feeling. The sense that there is something terrible in the world that we are powerless to change ... we can finally all get back to that at 5 o'clock today.

I've got to admit, I'm not confident for today, but always hopeful to be proven wrong. Come on you blues!

We've got 4 tickets and a positive CV19 test, so we can't go!! Gutted! Damn - that is not good. Hope it's the "light touch" version for those affected. Nice work Goose - got the matchday juices flowing. I'm feeling positive about this one, 2-1 to Rovers, not well enough to go myself, but my son will be cheering the lads to victory!

If they play Sweet Caroline today (as it seems to be on trend) Make the song our own and change the words to Sweet Gas of Mine !! UTG

Ticket hasn't arrived, but I am at home until midnight next Thursday courtesy of the dreaded covid. Started as a heavy cold, but tested positive on Monday. My return to the mem will happen in good time, hopefully with a full (or near as damn it) house the players will produce a result - UTG

Flies in the face of paying tribute to those who've passed away from the virus. I'd rather have to isolate than pass anything to my elderly parents or in laws.

Going to be a tough slog today. Stevenage are in a great run of form and have a strong settled side.

Right, so this is my first matchday thread (I'm hoping first of many as I'm hoping for a winning streak). I may also be very early, but I'm keen (unlike the true Goose) to ensure we don't go near the danger zone and instead go towards the promised land as JB eluded to in his pre match interview. So today we play the mighty Stevenage... The mighty cup killers and the team who gave us one of our greatest strikers in Barry Hayles and as such will hold a neutral to positive place in my football memories, however today and this season isn't the place for sentiment. LET'S JUST TAKE A MOMENT.... THE FIRST HOME LEAGUE GAME IN GOD KNOWS HOW LONG (doesn't that Sunderland win seem bloody ages ago).. And haven't the boys in blue needed the fans... To sing, to give a push and to belt out GOODNIGHT IRENE.. Hopefully we will have Nicholson & Collins back and we can look to have a decent attempt or two on goal... I'm hoping today will be the day ... The day for fans The day for passion The day for chance The day for victory Yes I know, I'm going on a bit, but hey this is my first time and before now I was a matchday Virgin, so shoot me if I want to savour this... And if we win you'll have to put up with me again . So... COME ON YOU GASHEADS COME ON YOU BLUES MAKE US PROUD! If you Fk this up Goose, Maverick gets the nod next week.

Just arrived from sunny Telford. M5 was a pain getting in; extra 25 mins on the journey. Usual watering hole (the Welly) closed so having to pay the mad rates of the club bar. Still great to be home again. Looking forward to this. Missed the place.
