Jaakkola 5 (none of the spectacular saves that we have become used to and distrubution poor)

Hoole 5.5 (managed to get vital tackles in but did not really impact on the game)
Hughes 5 (in the main looked a competent defender but must take responsibility for the defence playing too deep and not enough good forward passes)
Anderton 5 (looked relatively competent in defence but very negative)
Harries 5 (did not do much wrong but did not look as if he was going to make a positive impact on the game)

Grant 4.5 (each time he looked as if he would do something good he would make a mistake. After a lot of games in the last couple of years expect a more commanding performance)
Finley 5 (a reasonable effort seeing not much of a pre-season and hopefully will get better)

Thomas 5 (a few nice touches but a very disappointing performance from someone of his ability)
Hargreaves 4.5 ( a few moments of good energy and positive running but a shadow of the player that he was when he first came into the team)
Anderson 6.5 (the only half decent performance. Showed good effort, pace and skill but a little short of end product)

Saunders 3.5 (anyone above six ft two inches tall would of made more of an impact. Not his position and appeared that if he played there for ever he would not score)

Subs: Rodman 4 (little impact)
Nicholson 4.5 (little impact but at least his presence gave us hope)
Collins 3 (made even less impact that Saunders)

Stevenage 5 (even with a new team we should win games like this. When Wycombe went up to the Championship they only had a handful of players at the start of pres-season)
