I can just imagine the outcry if he'd done that - "Why didn't he wait to see if better options became available later in the window?" While I agree to an extent Tilly, the point is these players are not going to be match fit, and they reek of poor planning and desperation As a rule, well run clubs know exactly what’s needed to bolster the squad, and they fine tune. Yes, late deals can be struck, but we seem to be like the poor soul who worked late at the start of the pandemic only to turn up to the supermarket to find everyone else has stocked up on all the bloody toilet rolls…… |

If that happens and JB does start making his excuses than he has to be shown the door. We can't afford for him to p1ss everyone off, not get performances from players, whinge and moan etc etc from now until Christmas and the next window opens. We will be relegated by then. Or alternatively we may be pushing for the play-off positions and he won't need any excuses  I would love to think so Kev, I really would, but there has been little sign of cause for optimism yet.......... |

Got about an hour left before attentions turn to the pointless game this evening that has got in the way of this important day. Then just under 2 hours after the game left. Can't see anything happening signing wise during the game. So just under 3 hours left I'd say of this window.

Since most of the players linked with us are out of contract, they can sign after the deadline, so I don't suppose it matters if we don't sign them before 11pm.
