Since most of the players linked with us are out of contract, they can sign after the deadline, so I don't suppose it matters if we don't sign them before 11pm. True, but it leaves the gate open for other clubs. |

Does the deadline apply to transfers to the conference? In which case Westbrooke and Hargreaves could still be gone? If Westbrooke is our highest earner, according to Frost he is, he will not be going to the Conference. Because Bennett didn’t go to the Conference??? If we don’t want him, it’s better to get part of his wages paid. |

We can now be distracted by watching the match. Joey picked a much stronger team than expected. A chance for some to gain match fitness. I’m checking to see if there is togetherness and a spirit about the group selected. Any victory would be great and confidence boosting performance would be better. If we get both I’ll be delighted.
Signings can wait a little longer.

So appears we are signing Anthony Evans and Junior Brown, if Sam Frost is correct. If that's true then we've now had 4 transfer windows to replace JCH and failed to sign a recognised goal scorer in all four. If Pitman struggles for fitness &/or goals we could well now face a relegation fight. |
