The king of jumping to conclusions is at it again I see. Hardly jumping to anything pretty sure JB made him available for transfer but he's still here playing tonight, plus Sam Frost suggested earlier today he's one of our highest wage earners. Unless I just dreamt all that and he is in fact an integral member of the first team squad and only on a low wage. Except you jumped to a conclusion that him still being here means he's refused to move. Not the other possibilities, such as no other clubs were in for him, or the club want to sell him for a fee and that wasn't matched, or the terms of any deal couldn't be agreed? No, you jumped to the conclusion that it is the player "refusing to move". |

Very underwhelmed but I will support them. Let's see what they can do in a Rovers shirt and with our fans behind them. I hoped for better. We need better but how many times have underwhelming signings turned out very good signings. So here is to hoping! No such thing as underwhelming or overwhelming on day 1. It’s what they do on the pitch for us that matters not what they’ve done elsewhere. Well there is because I am. |

Did we actually try and do any business at all today, given that Brown and Clarke have apparently been training with us for a while and Taylor was clearly at the ground earlier. Now there's a proper striker - but would he come back to us do you think?  |

I don’t get any of these signings I don’t even know what that means. We need a left sided defender, we’ve signed one. We need a presence up front to prevent us pumping it up to Saunders as we were at the start of the season, we’ve signed one. Not sure how Evans fits in but we’ll see I’m sure. Evans seems a replacement for Westbrooke, an attacking CM who's good at dead ball situations, problem is Westbrooke's still here so it'll be interesting to see how that one pans out. |
