Yesterday I watched an old interview with JB saying perception is more important than reality.
Regardless, the reality is that we are not far off the play-offs and there are a lot of matches still to be played.
EDIT: I also listened to JB being critical of a manager for being overweight.
Personally, I think there is more to being a great football manager than not being overweight and wearing glasses to make you seem intelligent.

We are not far off the playoffs because we haven’t played even played 1/4th of the matches yet.
If anything 5 points off the playoffs at this stage is something to be concerned about because if you repeat that form over another 10 games you’ll be 10 points off and by the time you’ve played the whole season you’ll be somewhere between 20 and 25 points off the playoff places.

The reality is we are 20th in the xG table, 20th in the actual table, barely create any chances in all the games so far, play dogshit football in a dogshit stadium with a clueless manager.

The former Manchester City midfielder responded on the social networking site by tweeting: "Have to take back what I said about Thiago Silva being over-rated today. Been immense tonight. Still looks like an overweight ladyboy though!
"Two questions for Thiago Silva. Firstly, Why are YOU talking about ME, in your press conference before PSG v Barca? Very strange.
"Secondly, Are you Pre-Op or Post-Op?"

The reality is only 1 team have lost more games than us and that is Oldham.
The reality is not 1 single team have conceded more goals than us in our league.
The reality is we have the 3rd worse goal difference behind Oldham and Scunthorpe.
The reality is we are just 3 points from the bottom 2.
The reality is we haven't even faced any of the top 3 yet.
The reality is we have a manager who has won 21 points from a possible 84.
The reality is we don't have a player who has scored 2 goals in the league.
So although we may be just 5 points away from the top 7 (6 points really taking goal difference into consideration), there is actually nothing to suggest we will be anywhere near the play offs come the end of the season. The reality is we can't keep clean sheets, we concede too many, we struggle to create chances, we don't score enough, we don't get enough points, things will inevitably get worse as still need to face the top 3 and we have a manager whose stats show is one of our worse performing managers that we have ever had.
There is the reality.

Having seen JCH get banned and fined(?) for comments from years ago, and someone (forget who) banned for comments when they were a teenager, he should get a ban for these remarks. BRB, just got to send an email....

The reality is that JB slated previous managers for their striking recruitment when he has done the exact same thing or worse.
I don't believe him when he says that Bristol Rovers got all of their transfer targets apart from one. There must be loads of players out there that doesn't want to play for him.

The reality is we have not replaced JCH and without a prolific striker we will always struggle, that with the worst defence in league 2 is a worrying time.

My fear is that waiting until December to sack JB will be too late, as we’ve seen before the struggling teams around us will bring in new managers who get it right, leaving us facing non league football once again.

I wonder what the community trust, Gas Girls and Her Game Too make of his views on women's football?

Correct. The problem is that the new gaffer has to come in and work miracles in the transfer market immediately, without truly understanding the weaknesses in the squad. You get a manager in before that - say, October time - and they have plenty of time to truly assess where they feel they're weakest and address as neccessary.
