I know this was briefly covered on the Swindon match day thread when Hugo admitted he would not be attending and hoped we lost, so JB's departure would be hastened. Well we certainly lost but JB is still here and I find myself in a dilemma, after attending the Swindon debacle I was so angry and upset at the performance it took me until sunday lunch time to calm down and I know I must have been great company for my wife on saturday evening. Well I have made the decision that I will not be going to another match until JB has gone and that is hard for me after 50+ years of following Rovers, I have never missed a match before solely because of who is in the managers seat. Well that was the easy choice now I come to my big decision, do I want us to lose and hopefully Wael to see sense and get rid off him. I know what I hope for will make no difference to the result but the fact I am even thinking this way is so so sad. Just wondering if anyone else out there is thinking the same way?. You are not alone. That is exactly how I feel!

Fair enough everyone totally should have there own views mine is just that I remember last season and how much I missed going to the mem for me it’s the whole experience of meeting up with your mates and having a few pints before game. And yes I believe Barton should not be at the club but to me Rovers are more than just one person People were so desperate to go and see rovers live last season me included and now a couple of months into the season people are now on about boycotts I understand how sh** we are but dear o dear talk about short memories. I put £300 into the 21/22 season to support my club and been going since 1989. But I don't enjoy going under Barton it makes every Saturday for ME depressing watching the clueless formation he chooses and player selection he puts out is mind boggling with never a plan B. Everyone can see 3 at the back don't work or putting Pitman up top by his self for example. The performances in league two this season are not only some of the worst I have ever seen but its now simply embarrassing. The way he set us up against Swindon it looked like we were playing arsenal in fact he made them look like arsenal! 35% possession at home to Swindon... We have had some clueless managers over time but JB is another level and for wael to back him up with JB's 20 defeats in 30 games and absolutely ZERO signs of him turning it around ill spend my time away from it right now and enjoy time with the family doing something else. The problem is in the dugout and Wael also who dispite I cant thank enough for his financial support but the people he's brought in has been extremely poor along with the fact that he's backing possibly are worst ever manager in our history.

Just purely out of interest, are there people not going to games because of Barton or because of bad performances/results. For example, if we pick up form under Barton in the next 5 or so games will anyone who is not going then return even with him still in charge? Or is it now stay away no matter what until he has gone? Purely because of Barton. I've followed Rovers for 50 years and have seen some awful teams we've put out...but still went to watch them. I refuse to travel 40 miles each way to watch a convicted thug manage our team.

Missed a handful of home and away games in the past 35 years. Not going again until he’s gone after Bradford away

Season ticket holder, travel home and away hardly missed a game in 10 seasons
I will not step foot into a football ground until he is no longer associated with the Gas
It's painful not going, it's my own dirty protest but there it is.
Hopefully he goes next week.... or the week after.........

I decided after the orient game I would not be going back for a while, in any case off to Wembley Tuesday for the england hungry game so I will be getting my football fix . Nowadays if England were playing in my back garden -- I would draw the curtains. you Scottish?

I’ve got ahead of the game and I’m already boycotting the next useless incumbent.

I’ll still attend , the football is embarrassing along with our cock of a ‘manager’ but I still love getting together with my mates , especially after not being able to attend for so long. I respect everyone’s view on whether boycotting or not but for me , it’s more about catching up and having a few pints with mates , the 90% of the time supporting the gas the football has been sh** anyway😂

Saturday morning I will drive from Bridgwater to Chard to coach an U12s team and then drive up to Bristol to watch the Gas. Nothing will stop me from doing it as I'm a Gashead and I find it embarrassing that people won't go as we haven't performed very well at home the last couple of games. Faithful and true until the going gets tough it seems.

I think boycott is the wrong word, not wanting to go as you just know you’ll be in for an afternoon or pure sh*te including another depressing performance and defeat is more like it.
