Saturday morning I will drive from Bridgwater to Chard to coach an U12s team and then drive up to Bristol to watch the Gas. Nothing will stop me from doing it as I'm a Gashead and I find it embarrassing that people won't go as we haven't performed very well at home the last couple of games. Faithful and true until the going gets tough it seems. Whilst I respect your decision most of use were at eastville, twerton and twenty years back in Bristol so I think we have earned the "faithful and true" badge. Sadly I've lost the buzz and often I'd rather spend the money on some vinyl or just chill down my allotment, each to their own. Utg

The only way of making essential changes is to stay away. I feel sorry for the season ticket holders! By staying away the message will be loud and clear how dissatisfied we Gasheads are! I wish the whole board would leave. What an utter shambles of a football club.

I'm still going but fed up with the pedestrian slow experienced pro s we have signed, I would rather see some of the under 23 s playing, seeing their movement and skill in the goals against FGR gives me some hope.

There are some sad people on this forum I support the club not whoever the manager is And if you feel the removal of Barton is in the best interests of the club...? How do you know it is in the best interests? If he goes whoever comes in will be left with, mostly, the players he signed, perhaps they might be glad to see the back him, alternatively, they might decide to down tools in protest. Then come January potential signings might not want to join as we have built up a reputation of sacking the manager every few months. In an ideal world Wael sacks Barton and replaces him with an experienced L2 manager and gives him £'s to rebuild the squad in January, unfortunately, Gashead's all know it doesn't work like that at Rovers.

Some of us "sad" supporters have been suffering since the Eastville days, with little or no progress for the club. The promised new stadium is merely a pipe -dream. This ramshackle stadium will be Rovers home for God knows how long. No enticement for next generation supporters.

On a list of why players join football clubs I reckon that one has got to be pretty low down. Under wages and quality of sourcable Snus anyway.

Do we really know how footballers, or their agents, actually think? If your playing in the north or London area what would actually attract you to play for Rovers at present, other than more £'s?

A few people I go to football with are boycotting because of Barton and have vowed not to attend whilst he is in charge. Some other people I know have decided to give it up for a few weeks mainly becuase of the start to the season.
I'm in 2 minds for saturday. I've got to be honest, kind of getting sick of it.

Just been told we’re home this weekend. Assumed we be away as we were home last week. My reaction was “do we have too?”
But I will do. Planning a quiet weekend anyway.

I don't rate Barton as a manager and do not rate him as a person, and hope he goes asap, however I will continue to support my team.
I know Anderton has not had the best of starts but I expect him to play, together with at least one under 21 ( probably either Hoole or Martinez). I will be there supporting those players and will doing all I can financially or verbally to help us get the three points.
Who knows we might win 1-1, it might not rain, the pasties may be hot, the programme may have improved and I might get third place in the 50/50.
It might not be what the prawn sandwich brigade at Man U expect, but it is moments like Wayne Carlisle's last minute free kick to give us a 2-1 victory v Darlo,? Hyde's superb volley v Hartlepool, Parkin's pen save v Rimmer in the 2nd rd of the Leyland Daf etc, ie very rare moment of skill that brings Gasheads such joy.
Watching on TV is just not the same as being there and "feeling" it.
Anyway I would ( and have) watched years of garbage, to get a Gary Smart or 2nd May 1990 feeling.

Not been to a game since the charge was announced, not particularly missing it, it sounds bloody dreadful. I look forward to people moaning about my personal choice.
