Going to my first game for quite a while tomorrow night. Notice the civil service club are charging now, Where's the best place to park?

I tend to arrive early, and usually get parked in one of the side streets around Parkstone Avenue, sometimes have to go a bit further out. Still debating whether to drive or let the train take the strain tomorrow.

On the rare occasions I drive I usually just park up in the residential area around the Inn on the Green kind of way.
But a 7pm KO on a Tuesday night I reckon you could get even closer to the ground and park on one of the roads around Horfield common?

Assuming you are coming in from the civil service end the side streets before it on the Lockleaze side are normally OK (Elmore, Chedworth, Dovercourt) Heading towards Westbury roads South of Wellington Hill west are OK. Generally speaking anything more than 10 min walk away tends to be a lot easier

We’re taking every (available) first-team member, there will be no kids travelling,” Robinson said.

Half serious question, have you asked the club?
Maybe not expecting busy one there may be parking available in Mem car park?

Yep, one of the side roads near the Inn on the Green if you’re able to do the 10 minutes walk. If I get there early enough then I’ve also been able to park near the Welly. Started doing the former now though as easier to get away after the game (I have to head out towards the M5).

I used to park by there a long while ago funny enough but changed my routine to civil service club as liked listening to Geoff on Radio Bristol straight after the game.

Heard that the Tesco carpark (Golden hill) can be popular if you don't mind a bit of a walk

When I drove I always used to park at the back of the church next to a pub called "The Gloucester Arms " or whatever it is called nowadays. Always easy to park and has room for about 30 cars.
