PFA Chief describes footballers as being made to act more like machines than human beings, due to the volume of games. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59347490As usual Klopp and Guardiola are among the most vocal on the matter. I do agree that there are large number of games to be played over a small amount of time, but it really grinds my gears that the managers that moan the most are among those with the vastest array of talent to choose from. Both could rotate their lineups quite happily and still achieve success, if they were as good as their reputation suggests. Then you have clubs like us and moreover like Accrington, Oldham etc, with tiny budgets that have to put smaller squads out into a league campaign with 8 more matches each season than the PL clubs have, plus get penalised if they rotate too many players in the EFL Trophy games against the U21s. Frankly, it's a *ing joke.
