Unsuitable for the office, promoted beyond her abilities? Yep, just like her predecessor. For the sake of the people in this country, I do hope she has a credible plan and we are surprised. I'll judge her by both words and deeds, certainly evidence so far is not in her favour. And how do you know she is unsuitable for the office and has been promoted beyond her abilities? You go on to say you will judge her by both words and deeds...good...then you say evidence so far is not in her favour (she is not yet PM and already your judging her). I'd rather have the country in the hands of an oxford graduate than "potentially" in the hands in the future of someone who left school pregnant aged 16 and has no nil zero qualifications. Wouldn't you? Based on her work in the various departments and speeches she has made over the years. If you were interviewing a candidate would you appoint them based on their university or promises they make during the interview or would you like them to provide evidence of their suitability? As for your last point, shouldn't we give her a chance? That's what you are advocating for Liz Truss, so why not Angela Rayner? Not that she is likely to be PM anyway. |

If a Labour PM was as incompetent as the Conservative ones then they'd be called out too. I'm no fan of the likes of Corbyn, Miliband or Brown for example, nor Blair after his first term and a half. |

Find me a post where I’ve ever commented on Truss? My understanding is that the others are basing it on how she’s been in office so far, which is fair enough. However, they’re also not the ones saying not to judge her, but then judging the opposition party. If they were then I’d be in agreeable with you |

Diane Abbot went to Cambridge uni and if I remember rightly you were a big admirer of her intellect? Yeah Diane Abbott went to Cambridge and read history achieving a lower second class degree (2:2).... Maybe if she had done Mathematics it would have helped her work out how much she was going to pay Police Officers! 😂😂😂 Just a thought, France, I see Therese Coffey is lined up to be Deputy PM.
