I see we have 7 coaches going to Scunthorpe on Saturday. Only 8 free seats left on coach 7 for those who fancy free transport to the game.

Great gesture by Wael and well taken up by the fans. Scunthorpe should appreciate it financially. Let’s hope the fans get a good performance and a result, set us up for Christmas and the new year.
UTG!

Let's hope we dont see a string of covid outbreak postponements. Man U have followed spurs in postponing.

I’m presuming that these bigger clubs are unable to use players outside of their named 25 man squads. Otherwise they have more professionals they could call on. If the clubs are only to call on their named squads then, like lower league teams, they will have to postpone if a large outbreak. UTG!

The likes of Sancho and Greenwood etc are classed as 'U21' so they don't even need to be named in the 25 man squads.

Anyone know why Scunthorpe tickets don’t seem to be available online via TM? The link on the Rovers website also takes you to TM but again, no option to buy tickets for this game. Not sold out surely?

But I thought the U21 thing was an EFL rather than a PL thing and that it was only used for financial reasons in the EFL and not the PL. When some of these PL clubs have professional players numbered in the 40s and 50s as some do (not all) then they should be able to play but not if the squads they can pick from are limited to the 25 named in September. Whatever, well done to Wael and the fans. Safe travelling. UTG!

Great of Wael to put in free coaches for this I wouldn’t however get on a packed coach at the moment if he paid me with Covid at its highest transmitting since the pandemic started. Chances are at least one person on each coach will have it. I’m not that scared of Covid I’ve had 3 jabs but with Christmas 10 days away I think now would be the worst time to get it.

Was just gonna say similar. COVID coaches 😷. Thats not to takeaway from a great gesture by Wael.

Also will we now need a vaccination passport and covid test to enter the ground?

Yeah I’m sure it applies to all public transport , as for Covid passports I’m pretty sure it’s only for crowds of 10,000 + which seems strange as Covid doesn’t only transmit in crowds of 10,000 +.

I haven't seen anything on the club website, but the official guidance says passports or some other proof of a negative test must be shown for: -unseated outdoor venues with more than 4,000 people -any venue with more than 10,000 people The Mem has more than 4,000 unseated people on a normal matchday (unless it's a very low crowd) but also has seats. So I have no idea how it might be categorised....
