Belshaw 8 another solid performance.

Hoole 8 immense.
Taylor 8 immense
Connolly 6.5 mistake that led to their goal but stood up rest of match.
Grant 7 nice simple play and effective.

Coutts 7.5 solid.
Finley 8.5 m o m and deserved a goal credit. Was everywhere, our performances have missed him even of our results haven't.

Collins 7 worked hard.
Evans 6.5 some nice touches but again many failed set pieces.
Nicholson 7 linked well and radio liked his performance, but I think his performance impact has been subdued since Loft or similar placement.

Loft 6 one tame shot and a lot of chasing down, but the chances haven't fallen for him yet

Ref 6.5 whistle and card happy and seemed to buy the falling player game...
Swindon 6.5 after 30 mins they weren't the strong position in division favourites I thought they would live up to be. They chased the game after that, we were very good without the ball, and appeared to nullify their gameplan.... always Simpson and long haired moany fella a threat but I thought we coped with them admirably and more than competed.

It could have gone either way, a draw a fair result, we are evolving into a team becoming hard to beat and all credit to manage and coaching staff for upturn in form and performances..

Belshaw 7 - No chance with the goal and had a fairly quiet afternoon otherwise. Did what he had to with his usual confidence.

Hoole 7.5 - Offensive game can be improved upon but really like the look of this kid. I’d play him RB every time in a back four.
Taylor 8 - Class against a really tough opponent in Simpson.
Connolly 6.5 - Heavy tough just before their goal but otherwise thought he was solid and seems to have slotted in really well.
Grant 7.5 - Defensively solid. Tucked in when we had the ball and gave us an extra body in midfield.

Coutts 8 - Calm, combative & composed. Class.
Finley 8.5 - Got everything you’d want in a midfielder at this level.

Collins 7 - Not sure RW is his best position but full of running as always and some nice contributions in our better moves.
Evans 7 - Quiet offensively by his standards but ran himself into the ground off the ball and gets stuck in with the best of them.
Nicholson 6 - Not the same player this season, IMO.

Loft 6 - A bit hit & miss at times but can see there’s something there to work with. More to come I hope.

Subs: Thomas 6 - Would be tempted to give him a little run in place of Nicholson for the next few.

Ref 6 - Bit of a homer but not the worst we’ve had this season.
Swindon 6 - Struggled with our press and intensity for large periods but always a threat in attack and defended well.
