So it was either Elliot Anderson, Harry Anderson, Collins or Saunders! At least we’ve narrowed it down a bit It was definitely Saunders.

How did Elliot Anderson do? He was brought down for the pen, I think, according to the radio. Didn’t hear him mentioned much after but it’s a great first contribution if true! EA looked pretty useful, looking right at home in the central mid role and had probably one of our moves of the season with his inter play with Thomas which nearly led to a goal.

Harry Anderson brought down for pen. Serves me right to trust the Radio Bristol commentary don't ever take RB on what they say

Missed Belshaw today IMO. Disappointing error from Jaakkola for Sutton's goal. Came for a cross he was never getting - which he does far too often - and at least 2 of Sutton's chances came because he didn't come out of his area to clear balls over the top. Decent shot stopper but his decision-making is often poor. A couple of decent stops at the end but Belshaw probably wouldn't have needed to make some of those saves because he would have cleared the ball upfield or into touch.
The defence had their work cut out against a lively Sutton attack and rode their luck at times but battled hard against a lot of long balls forward.
We controlled the ball pretty well on a lively pitch, dominated possession, and had spells of pressure but didn't manage to create many chances or force their keeper into many saves. We did hit the bar twice, Collins might have scored had he lifted his shot when played in on goal and H.Anderson did well to win the penalty.
Overall, happy with a good hard-earned point - that I think we just about deserved - against a team 3rd in the table.

that'll do for me! good point v a tough uncompromising side, keep reading that we aint playing well, all i can say is we keep picking up points not playing well so God help the rest of the division when we do play well! Note of caution re the Oldham game which plenty of folk see as a easy 3 points, Oldham will be battling for the old new manager so any drop in commitment from us will not lead to a happy ending! Gotta treat the game as if v top side! Baggins must keep the job so start thread Monday at latest Baggins!

Nonsense to say Balshaw wouldn't have needed to make the saves, at least give Jaakola some credit for a decent save at the death.

Probably a decent draw whilst we're lacking a frontline focal point, hopefully Loft can help us turn some of these draws into wins. UTG

How lucky are we to have the best 2 keepers in league 2 and I'd say right up there league 1 in my opinion

A clever manager who will have them organised and today was a great result for them. Not the foregone conclusion some think, but we need to win. Well done to the team today, a battling performance on what sounded a poor pitch and a very direct opposition. Another gutsy performance getting a point near the end. Never give up this team. UTG!

Really good, encouraging point
I’m breaking my stay away now. Just got tickets for Exeter, I can’t stand not being there any more. Barton for me has got this team playing for the shirt and the pride seems to be coming back
I see a team and a fan base more united than in several years and although Joey still has a way to go to convince me, he’s headed this club in the right direction
I’m ok with eating humble pie.
I think this squad are capable of reaching the play offs
And even if we fall short I’m confident we will bounce back soon

Oldham won 1-0 at big relegation rivals Scunny today, Tuesday's game now suddenly looks a lot harder than it did a week ago!

It was definitely Saunders. Perhaps it was Spartacus. I’m Spartacus and so’s my wife. Draw that’ll do nicely, followed up by a 3 - 1 win @ I told em Oldham.

Interesting card count today: Sutton 4, dirty old Bristol Rovers 1 👀.
