Jaakkola - 7. Nothing he could do about the goals and some good saves.

Hoole - 4. Not his night
Connolly- 6. Best of the defence.
Harries - 3. When is Kilgour going to be fit again.
Anderton. 4. Can do better.

Coutts. 5. Looked half the player who did so well on Saturday.
Finley. 4. Poor.
Anderson. 5.5. Better than Coutts and Finley.

Evans. 5. Hope he’s fit for Saturday.
Saunders. 4. I forgot he was playing in the second half.

Collins. 6. Best of the outfield players. Always wanted the ball.

Subs
Nicholson. 6. Good goal. Did OK
Thomas. 5. Ran around and did try a few things.
Anderson 4. Didn’t notice him.

Ref. 6. Decent performance. Tried to let the game flow.
Oldham. 6. Fair play to them and their manager and fans. Not much skill in the team but bags of effort and never say die attitude. Could have had a few more.

Let’s hope we put this one behind us and that Taylor, Evans and Belshaw are back on Saturday, though at least we have a good keeper in Jaakks.

Jaakkola 6 a few tidy saves but he just isn’t our number one any more

Hoole 3 woeful on the ball, he’s got a long way to go to become a regular starter
Connolly 6 composed of the ball, the only defender to get any credit whatsoever
Harries 3 settled down second half, first half looked like a player that had been retired for several years
Anderton 3 caught out time and time again

Coutts 2 I lost count of the amount of times he needlessly gave the ball away under no pressure. No influence on the players around him and he simply is not a deep lying playmaker
Finley 3 honestly forgot he was on the pitch

E. Anderson 5 got on the ball and tried, not much of it came off
Evans 5 as above, really missed him after he went off
Saunders 3 some good pressure in the first half. No hold up play at all. Forgot he was on the pitch second half

Collins 6 the only outfield player that really looked a threat. Made some nice runs and created our only chances

Subs: Nicholson 5 last season he looked a world beater in league one. This season he looks bang average and I barely notice him
Thomas 6 at least had some energy and a drive to get forward
H. Anderson 6 in stoppage time he finally started running directly and we began to look a threat

Ref 3 how he missed their goal is beyond me, looked miles over the line? He missed so many fouls. Consistently bad for both teams
Oldham 7 hard to tell because he didn’t put them under much pressure. Scored good goals, pressed us high up the pitch, kept their keeper quiet

Jaakkola 7 some good saves - could of been a very embarrassing defeat

Hoole 3 very poor game
Connolly 5 - best of a very poor bunch at the back
Harries 2 - seems to be a liability in one way or another every time he plays
Anderton 3 - very limited in what he 'tries' to do

Coutts 3 - used to be a good player but sadly no more - at the end of his career at this level
Finley 4 - nothing creative about his game - so predictable

Anderson E 5 - difficult for a young player to make any form of impact on the game with so many poor players around him on the night
Evans 5 - fingers crossed he will start on Saturday
Saunders 3 Anonymous for most of the game

Collins - 6 lively but no support

Thomas - 5 glimpses of effort and determination but no end result
Anderson H - 4 as Thomas

Ref 6 - average sort of game nothing too controversial apart from being let down by his lino.
Oldham - 6 did a job on us - fair play!
