Belshaw 8 did actually make some good saves but was barely involved
Hoole 8 barely anything got past him today Taylor 8 solid as ever Connolly 8 likewise Anderton 8.5 solid and even added some cameos in attack
Coutts 8 dominated the middle again Finley 8 energy and nice touches all over the pitch
H. Anderson 7 less involved today Evans 8 very classy except for the first 20 mins E. Anderson 9 so much skill and confidence. Unbelievable goal
Collins 9 he is a really top striker at this level
Subs: Whelan 7 had an easy task when he came on Saunders 6 ran around a lot without really looking threatening Loft 5 don’t remember him touching the ball?

Belshaw 8 first 20 mins kept us in it! Not much to do second half.
Hoole 7.5 some nice wing back play. Taylor 7 shaky first 20 mins, ok after. Connolly 7 as above. Anderton 8 best of defence for me including speculative long distance shot.
Coutts 8 steady game and calming influence. Finley 6 not his usual boisterous game.
H. Anderson 7.5 decent, loads of running. Evans 6.5 quiet by his own standards. E. Anderson 8 exquisite goal and general football awareness.
Collins 8 m o m, I mean all he ever does is score goals!?
Subs: Whelan 7 decent. Saunders 5 not sure of what he done. Loft 5 will he ever score a goal?
Ref 4 bee in his bonnet about us, JAB and every blue and white player.... still don't know why JAB was booked? Harrogate 5.5 average 4th division team....their number 22 apart, at least the gamesmanship and time wasting wasn't priority. They'll stay up, caused us some problems early doors, but it shows our progression from when we beat them at their place - they were 3rd then - and conversely, their depression.
A first double of the season that I've seen live. Over the two matches, I think we were good value for our wins. We'll miss EA when he gets called up, obviously it means another opportunity waiting in the wings (LT, maybe?) but that's debate for another day. Potentially tricky opponents, SW has led a decent side to the Mem trying to play decent football, what for 2 genius strikes, they may have been encouraged to leave with more than nothing on another day.....but we're in momentum at the moment, like a juggernaut hungry for more, it's an entertaining and dare I say it: exciting time to be consuming football these days?!
There, I just have. Well done JAB and his get fresh crew ...

Belshaw. 8
Hoole. 8 Taylor. 7.5 Connolly. 8. Loved the way both he and Taylor could create a yard of space and bring the ball out from the back. Anderton 8.
Finley. 7 Coutts. 8.
Evans. 7. Not his best game. A few things he tried didn’t come off but he kept trying and worked hard. Anderson H. 7.5. Anderson. E. 8.5. What a goal and lots more besides.
Collins. 9. MoM for me, well though others played. A handful for their defence after the first 15 mins when I don’t think he touched the ball.
Whelan. 8. Loved the way he told his team mates where to run etc. A future manager? Saunders. 7 Ran a lot and forced a good save from their keeper at the death. Loft. 7. Unlucky not to score following up from the keeper’s save from Saunders’ shot and almost set up Evans I think who mis-controlled the ball. Some clumsy touches but he might be fine I think.
Ref. 3. Not a clue, bad for both teams rather than biased. The linesman on the east terrace side was worse. Harrogate. 4. Limited, once we woke up. Lump it up to the big number 9 was their only real tactic. Reminded me of how we played in Div 4 back in the day. And I suspect we’ll play again one day soon.

Belshaw 8 good game, I loved his keepy uppies !! Hoole 8.5 Improves with every game Taylor 7.5 a bit shaky early on but rectified this quickly Connolly 7.5 as Taylor Anderton 8.5 he gave his usual 100% Coutts 8 once he got acclimatised to the blustery conditions he controlled our midfield. Finley 7 not quite on top of his game. H. Anderson 7.5 showed his usual commitment Evans 7 a bit off the pace judging by his high standards. E. Anderson 9 the boy wonder is living up to his name, what a great goal !! Collins 9.5 M.o.M 2 outstanding goals, and generally just brilliant. Subs: Whelan 7 a steady Eddie, its a good tactic sharing the anchor position with Coutts Saunders 7 its good to see him get some game time Loft 6 most things just didnt work for him but he kept his head up and was unlucky with a shot cleared of the line. Ref 6 he didnt like Collins or Joey much !! Harrogate 6 decent going forward but defence suspect and they were sh*t scared of Azza and Billy !!

Belly 8 Assured and safe hands. Sweeps up well too.
Anderton 8. Solid. No nonsense. Good performance Connelly 7 Bit unsteady at first but grew in composure. Taylor 8 A giant and did well against a wily old battering ram Hoole 8 Just keeps getting better
Coutts 8 does the ugly stuff wonderfully well Finley 7 not his usual self but did well enough
H Anderson 8 good going forward and tracking back Evans 7 ok game, still looks dangerous when running at defenders E Anderson 9 what a prospect. One of the best goals I’ve seen in a long time!! Offer Newcastle extra pasties and a cold cider to keep him again next season!!
Collins 8.5 well taken goals, a threat, should have had a hat-trick
Whelan 7.5. Safe Loft. 4. Not safe Saunders. 5. Runs a lot but not sure what his best position is??
Ref 7. I actually thought he did ok
Harrogate. 5. Mediocre mid table Lg 2 team.

Results in and Aaron Collins was Man of the Match with a score of 8.63.
Connor Taylor set a new record for consecutive league scores above 6. He has played 21 league games since a 4.6 against Newport. The previous record was held by Tom Parkes in 2014/15. James Belshaw has equalled that old record with his own run of 20 games.
The starting XI average was 7.69. The average of this measure over the last ten games is 7.00. The only 10-game run that was higher was the run between Rochdale away and Chesterfield at home in 2016/17. This was just after Taylor had left in League One and included highly-rated draws against Sheffield United and Bolton.
Belshaw 7.9
Hoole 7.7 Taylor 7.6 Connolly 7.4 Anderton 7.7
Coutts 7.6 Finley 7.3
H. Anderson 7.1 Evans 7.0 E. Anderson 8.5
Collins 8.6
Subs: Whelan 6.9 Saunders 5.9 Loft 5.4
Ref 4.6 Harrogate 5.2
