Anyone know why all of a sudden tickets for the South Stand are not available? Surely not sold out!

Anyone know why all of a sudden tickets for the South Stand are not available? Surely not sold out! No idea but I suspect many have got their tickets already because of the increasing possibility of it being a vital, almost D/R, type of match. I got mine last Friday because it could be the match we go up! If the South Stand has sold out then I wouldn’t be that surprised. UTG!

Season ticket holder but bought an extra one last week anticipating that one of my son’s mates might want to come too and anticipating that this will be a sell-out, probably quite a way in advance. Just had a quick look now and it does look like the South stand may have sold out (unless there’s some technical problem with the ticketing site).

I hope that the club don't give Scunthorpe loads of tickets for the game... scenario we need to win to go up, having loads of Scunthorpe fans is only going to help make it difficult.

So maybe they want to keep the away terrace for us so have taken south stand off sale whilst they sort out moving any scunny fans that bought standing tickets in there. Once done, terrace and other south stand spaces available to Gas? I'm guessing obv

Following a Scunthorpe fan on YouTube who does a bit of vlogging, the iron travel well for their northern matches and unsurprisingly take hardly any to Southern fixtures.
They can have their single block of seats in the tent and like it, if Autos are up for grabs the Away terrace should be ours👌🏻

I would guess that we are only offering one (possibly two) blocks of seats in the South Stand to Scunthorpe fans and give the away terrace to Rovers fans like we did for the last conference league game.
Seems like a no brainer to me.
Pity the club are not making people aware and don't have the old reward system for big matches. Ie ST first then Helpline, Sharescheme, SC, YP, Presidents club members, then general sale etc.
It could be the case of a loyal supporter who can't afford a season ticket, who has been in several membership scheme for years and comes to most matches as and when they can afford it, may get guzumpt by a new glory hunting supporter who has the money to get 3 match tickets in advance.

I got me and my lad tickets on the blackthorn last week
I generally only go to 6-7 home matches from Dorset, and go for 4-5 glamour away trips
I have been a supporter for many decades.
Am I a new glory hunter?
(Never thought I’d ever hear that accusation levelled at Rovers fans!!!)

I don’t think anyone need miss out on this one. The tickets have been on general advanced sale for ages and will continue to be on general sale for a while yet before selling out. Only those who are disorganised or unable plan ahead will miss out. I don’t have sympathy unless you only discover you can go to the game at the last minute or are already skint and having to wait for the next pay cheque at the end of April. Maybe I’m being harsh?
Same applies to last away game. Plenty of opportunity to get tickets now but no doubt they’ll be a clamour for tickets at the last minute when they’re sold out.

Out of interest I had a quick butchers and there are plenty of Scunthorpe tickets left. What I don't get is in the family stand there are only single seats left. Assuming all the seats are numbered and everyone who sits there is a family unit of at least an adult and child I'm not sure how these will be sold. Suppose it will be adults with older children happy to sit separately, or alternatively is it a free for all with unallocated seats?

UTG This debate over who can attend a big match is ridiculous and comes up everytime there is a sell out. Who gets tickets for it I don't care as everyone there is there for one reason and that's the Gas,no-one is a superior fan than the next however many games they attend.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned somewhere else, but there was a lot of talk on Twitter yesterday about the club removing the famiky stand on the uplands terrace to bring the capacity back up, I wonder whether they’ve removed the seating options whilst they arrange for all those impacted to be sat somewhere else like the south stand and the south west.

Saw the initial allocation was about 800 and haven’t been there in years (can’t remember when but it was a World Cup year and was in the pub watching an early kick off and Rooney got injured and thought that’s England’s chances gone!). Lancashire invasion then!

Scunthorpe tickets now on general release. I live in Sussex and ordered mine today. Hopefully it'll be a meaningful game.
