Swansea and Brighton didn't think like this, they were getting low crowds b4 their stadiums were built and now look at their attendances That's not going to be down to just building a new stadium, there would have been investment in the playing side as well...
Fair point though, an updated stadium would certainly help get the punters through the door!
The two are intrinsically linked. Bigger crowds, ability to generate income on non match days means you can have a bigger playing budget.

What odds about 50 people turning up without tickets.
The media team need to know that twitter is not the only method of communication.
We have an old fan base, with many 65+, who many not be PC/mobile savvy.
New prospective fans may want to turn up on the day for the first time today.
Surely it wouldn't harm mentioning a sell out on the local news, radio or papers.
I would guess that first impressions last so If the have dissapointment now they may never bother coming back

Not sure anyone would turn up to anything any more without checking first whether tickets are needed or not.

There was a simpler time when if you fancied going to a football game...you just went.

I mean it’s a sell but yes ok. If the football was sh** and the ground half empty you could just turn up like the olden days.

Not inferring anything. Your actually saying people can’t be bothered when it’s a sell out. Just pointing out it’s an odd thing to moan about right now.

Just been on the ticketmaster website & I noticed Rovers fans can now buy tickets in what was the away terrace area on the east side for the Salford game on good Friday.

If Rovers attain promotion and do well in Division1, there will be a fair number of supporters unable to obtain match tickets!

In itself a reason some people have a can't be bothered attitude to attending games. There was a simpler time when if you fancied going to a football game...you just went. Surely those fans are the ones now missing out on watching the team play decent football, score good goals and win games? They are the only ones missing out as the club's not losing out if it's already having sell out games. Plus possibly miss out on watching a promotion side, regardless, what's the betting they motivate themselves enough to get a ticket for Wembley if that's how our season ends?

If ya can’t be bothered to buy a ticket online/in the club shop in advance for an upcoming match, ya can’t really be that fussed about it.
